Over the past  few seasons, the Stars have brought in some of the  best players in the world in their  squad. Messi, Neymar and Mbappe were in their attack. Last year there were players like Messi and Neymar playing for PSG. I think money matters most in league where there isn't a lot of money already. It wouldn't make the same difference for Manchester City to invest a billion now and become twice as valuable as they are and the second most valuable team in the Premier League is. Whereas the value gap in Ligue 1 is huge between PSG and then all the rest. That's where it makes a difference in the domestic league, but you can see how the advantage vanishes when PSG plays against other teams that are also financially strong and have some of the global superstars within their teams. Luis Enrique is without doubt one of the best managers in Europe at the moment and that's why I was very surprised with his performance with Paris Saint Germaine in his first few weeks at the club. However, I think it was as a result of the fact that he didn't have full experience about the PSG.

Mbappe rejected Real Madrid in January well I can’t say this is crazy especially as then man was young and needed that spotlight and the money too. Though his bad decision then is now haunting and probably that could be bye bye to his dreams of playing at the Bernabeu. But will the general team be composed to compete for titles to at least lay hands on the UCL because there league is a farmer’s league and they’ll keep succeeding there.

Recently Anthony Martial was linked to Marseille and there was a chance for this player to join Marseille during the winter but this team denied everything and they clearly said they are not going to buy Marseille from Manchester united
Marseille is mad about this news and since the performance of Anthony Martial was disappointing in Manchester United they don't want to have a player like Anthony Martial in their teams while he is not in the good form.

Marseille was confused about this rumour because they have no plan to bought Anthony Martial this winter and indeed they will bought new players because some of their players will be absense to defend their national team for African Cup but Marseille was never want to bought Anthony Martial from Manchester United especially this player has high salary and Marseille doesn't dare to pay according to his current salary

Somehow Lion managed to finish above relegation zone but I think they will have the same attitude in 2nd half of the season where they will fight again in the lower part of the Ligue 1.

Meanwhile , PSG is locked to be champions this year and I think they will have more than 15 points in front of the 2nd place by the end of the season.

Lyon has not found a safe point in the standings list, position 15 with 16 points is still very vulnerable. The poor results that continued to be achieved in the 1nd half must be evaluated when the January transfer window opens, Lyon still deserves to stay in Ligue 1. This team was once Ligue 1 representative in the UCL and is always in the top four list, the January transfer market is a good opportunity for Lyon to strengthen the team. Luis Enrique is without doubt one of the best managers in Europe at the moment and that's why I was very surprised with his performance with Paris Saint Germaine in his first few weeks at the club. He didn't start the season on a very good note as the club lost few games and dropped points on games they were supposed to win outrightly. However, I think it was as a result of the fact that he didn't have full experience about the PSG.

Since he leant about the best tactical approach that brings out the best from the team, they've flourishing in the league as well as in Europe. Hopefully he's gonna win the UEFA champions league for the club probably not this season but in the nearest seasons

No one having any doubt about Luis Enrique as he is still one of the best in business, and he can bring good positive changes in PSG as well which will help them for having better results in coming years without good number of stars in their team as well but now here management also need to understand this all because they mostly fired coaches quickly which is surely not going to help them in any case for winning Champions League with they are having strong control into Ligue 1.

Marseille can't be competitive for top 3 in the league so far unlike the previous season. They weren't able to stay in the title competition previously maybe but they at least earned the last Champions League ticket by finishing as third. This season the Ligue 1 has gained an extra spot for the Champions League group stage so being even fourth is enough to have a chance for the Champions League by qualifiers.

Marseille is still out from the top 5 at this moment and i expect this club to enter into the top 5 as soon as possible. Seeing the result from the last five games made me think that if marseille will able to qualify for UCL soon. as long as it can keep up with the current performance then the chance for marseille to enter into the top 5 is very big right now. Marseille is in the right track to win the UCL spot at the end of this season. It's caused by the club is performing really well and it keeps continue. Marseille is just gettng even closer to reach the top 5 at this time.
I expect marseille to take the fifth place at the end of this month. marseille is performing very well and i hope it keeps continue.

But Marseille's performance at the beginning of this season wasn't good at all. They newly started to maintain a solid form but we will see in the long run. The competition for the Champions League is likely to be really fierce this season.

Marseille is just getting better result this time. It is pleasing to note that the management has made a proactive decision to address the factors that were significantly impacting the club's performance. It seems changing the coach was quite effective to make marseille to perform even better.
I just noticed it now that if marseille got several won in a row which is unbelivable thing for me. I had the impression that Marseille would never improve and would continue to be at the bottom of the standings.
