Like I've always said in the thread, I don't think there's anything that's gonna stop Paris Saint Germaine from winning the French Ligue 1 this season and that's because of the quality of players in the team when compared to the rest of the clubs in the French league. Since the current owners of Paris Saint Germaine took over the club, they've been the highest spenders in the transfer market by a French team and one of the highest spenders in the whole of Europe so it's almost impossible to stop them from winning at least the French league title. At the end of the current season, I expect Paris Saint Germaine to win the French league which will be their 8th consecutive win of the league but their most challenging issue is winning the UEFA Champions League title.

We've seen some of the best players in football of the last two decades play for Paris Saint Germaine since the new owners took over the ownership of the club but the closest they came to winning the European Cup was in the 2019/20 season that they played in the final against eventual winners Bayern Munich. I think the best time for Paris Saint Germaine to win the UEFA Champions League title is now because at the end of the current season, their best player Kylian Mbappe will be leaving the club.

As it stands, the French side, PSG are safely tagged as the only team qualified for the Ligue 1 title this season. Although it's testifiable that there are uprising teams who can in their best space contest hard and out heated competition for the cup. In the league table, PSG so far seems to be doing well. The fans can also have much confidence in them to deliver and they've in no situation failed, even if they have, it's not so tangible as one may think it to be. Winning this season's UCL may be quite challenging though being that they're in the contests with good and better teams in respective leagues too. It's only a situation of the best of all the qualified teams being displayed.

 Their round of 16 second leg isn't easy either but if they manage to scale through, maybe hopefully, they'll get to the semi finals or finals because currently, they should have in their minds always that there's strong fold of competition in the tournament. We'd definitely await the qualifications determinant from the second leg game this week and the odds of PSG advancing is high nonetheless but football can't be so predicted as it once used to. But i don't see PSG going to the finals, they might be doing fine in their league but with the teams still remaining in the tournament, reabching the finals would be a tough one, it would be so suprising if they do.

Honestly the United part is even funnier, it looks like we are talking about a team that spent so much and did nothing, Chelsea too. Monaco at least managed to do something, they played a bit and did something and that is usually a lot better for them.

The thing about PSG is that the yare the only club that was willing to sell the team to a rich person, if other teams did that they would be good too but for some reason that never happened. I thought this for a while now because the Premier League has financially been the strongest for many years, haven't they? I think so. But it is not the case that their financial power reflects their success in European competitions. If I am not mistaken here it is still the Spanish league that leads by far at least for the last decade or so. Some clubs from other leagues will still have a word to say, but yes there is no doubt about what you said. The Premier League clubs are all rich due to their broadcasting contracts. But it doesn't feel like they would always have the upper hand.

But maybe this could snowball at some point although it may be balanced out by external investors. There is value in building another league when one league is already dominating the European and the global market. See Girona as an example. Osimhen doesn't seem like he will be welcoming a deal front the french team, it's never been his desire to proceed to getting a contract with the french team and never has he made it known publicly if he's got an interest in any form of deal from the french side this season a d next, although he would have been a better striker and replacement for kilyan mbappe before he leaves.

Osimhen has show more interest in going to england than going to any other sides, he's states some times ago about having interest in a few English team if they aswell have same interest just like be does to them. I think in England osimhen will have more advantage to Excel and explore new heights in his career than he would do if he goes to the french side because there the only elite team would be that who has got interest in them and the competition in the french side is minimal as compared to what you get in the English side that will people the players to aspire do more but you can be relax and explore better heights in you environment.
