Everton actually gave Manchester city the scare, as they went up on the first half and actually forced Manchester city to only have few opportunities in the first half.
But as always Manchester city rose to the occasion and came back to a three goal to one win over Everton, I still think this is not the best city performance yet and we would be seeing a better Manchester city in the future hopefully.

As expected, Manchester City are always in their best form at mid season to end of the season. After their win against Everton, they are now back to the top four of the table. Manchester City don’t look relent now and they will do everything possible to get to the top of the league which their point differential from the teams ahead of them is not that much. I bet Manchester City are now on a winning streak and they will be at their best form from now till end of the season.

Actually, Arsenal has the advantage because they have only played 18 times, while Liverpool have played 19 times.
If Arsenal can win against West Ham even with a narrow score, they will move up to 1st place with the same number of matches 19 times in all.
On the other hand, Liverpool must prepare to win the next matches and hope that Arsenal will achieve bad results to reduce the point difference.

However, looking at the statistics of the two teams between Arsenal and West Ham, I believe Arsenal is the favorite.

On 4th place in the league, they are only 5 points off first place and they have played one game less, so if they win that, it is only two points. But if Haaland doesnt keep scoring goals, then maybe Mohamed Salah will overtake him, he has currently scored 12 goals in 19 games. Haaland is on 14 goals in 15 games, which is a better ratio, but he should start scoring again soon. Yesterday there were 4 young players who were just waiting to be substituted, they were: Oscar Bobb (20), Micah Hamilton (20), Rico Lewis (19) and Mahamadou Susoho (18). At the moment when Everton scored a goal against Manchester City and they were one goal behind this team, I was thinking there was even a chance for Manchester City to lose this match and Everton make a miracle against this strong team but in the end, Guardiola didn't disappoint me because I was betting on Manchester City for this game and I was not expecting to see any result than Manchester City winning the match against Everton.
That may be because of some players in Manchester City not being in the good form and that's why they have bad performance in some games.

Well, I didn't get scared, to be honest. Because I pretty much knew that Manchester City was actually not going to lose. Sure they had a little trouble in the past few weeks but I never thought at any moment that they were going to lose against Everton. And that is exactly what has happened. Man City did get behind in this match. They did concede the first goal in this match but they had the capability to win this match and it was a good comeback even though it was against a relatively weaker opponent. Man City actually dominated the match even though Everton actually broke the deadlock in this match.

Manchester City dominated the away game against Everton well, but a few mistakes meant that Manchester City conceded first. Everton had a 1-0 lead at home, but Phil Foden really ruined Everton's hopes with his equalizer before two further goals for Manchester City to win.

I found Manchester City a little overwhelmed by Everton's counter attacks, while they really put high pressure on Everton's defense throughout the match. Foden and several other players posed quite a threat to Everton's goal throughout the match, but Manchester City were only able to score 3 goals, even though one of them was a penalty goal. Manchester City had 73% possession of the ball, made 23 shots, 9 of which were on target. This is a good statistic which in reality only sees Everton playing defensively and exploiting counter attacks.

I agree that this was not Manchester City's best performance and if they were in their proper form they should have scored first and even closed the first half with two goals. But in fact, here it was Everton who managed to take advantage of Manchester City's less than convincing performance and as we know, it dealt quite a major blow to Pep Guardiola's squad in the first half.

Certainly Pep Guardiola was annoyed and angry with the performance of his players and in the dressing room he provided a new strategy so that Manchester City could be sharper in their attacks. The result was as we saw and they responded with 3 goals from Alvarez, Bernardo and Grealish. It is never too late for Manchester City to change its pattern of play and they are doing their job well to continue to be able to achieve better performance in the future.

Manchester City, on the other hand, managed to win away from Everton.City was the better team to start the second half after being down at half time.City equalized with Foden in the 53rd minute and managed to take the lead 11 minutes later, but Silva scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute.They are not far behind in the championship race in terms of points.Although they have one game less, the points difference with the leader Liverpool is now 5.

For every match Chelsea wins these days, I feel surprised. Because look at them, dropping points against the weakest of the teams in the Premier League. But it is good for them since they are back on the winning track. Nkunku seems to be the difference maker for them as he is making him win. Their next match is against Luton Town and it should be an easy match for them but for the recent few matches, we don’t know what they will do as I have seen earlier.

On the other hand, Manchester City are also back from dropping points. They are still far away from the top spot due to recent losses and the draws. Liverpool is at the top right now with the highest points and Arsenal haven't played their match yet this week. Aston Villa lost to Manchester United which was surprising to me after they were in 2-0 lead. They probably could have gone to the top spot.

West Ham have been able to beat top English Premier League clubs this season and that's why I think it's absolutely possible for them to pick all three points from their league game against Arsenal tonight. What gives you the assurance that Liverpool will be the club that will be this season EPL winner. You are too quick to judge because we just got to half of the season with 19 matches played, this cannot make you give Liverpool the favorite club to win because they are topping the league. If Arsenal has being topping the league for few weeks now and still they can't beat their chest to say that they will be the winner. Manchester City started topping the table in the beginning of this season but now look at where they are. Every club will still be faced with their misfortune and whoever an overcome it with losing much points will win the league.

This kind of thing has been experienced by Man City very often in every match, and what is more important in the course of the match is securing 3 points, Pep will certainly be happy if he remembers these additional points. I think even though City have a great squad and coach, creating consistency is not easy to do. Before the 30th minute, Brighton scored 2 goals and they were ahead 2-0 against Tottenham. The first 30 minutes must have been a cold shower for Tottenham. It should not be forgotten that Manchester United entered the first half trailing 2-0 and then won. Tottenham can also achieve this, but Brighton is the much superior team in the match right now.

This season the competition to win the EPL league trophy is very tight, but believe me in February or March the competition will only leave Man City and Liverpool to win the EPL league trophy.

Why will the competition only leave Liverpool and Manchester City alone? Do you think it is possible for a team like Arsenal to experience such a sharp decline that they will be out of contention for the championship? I don't think that Arsenal will be out of contention for the championship, they have that ability, and I quite understand why Arsenal are not really taken into account because they can be said to be untested but it could be that this will be a better season for Arsenal, and the competition for the title will stay tight until the end of the season where the last match will be very decisive.
So there will be three teams competing to become champions of the English Premier League this season, Aston Villa will slowly decline and being able to stay in the top four is already a good achievement for Aston Villa who have always been considered an average team in their many seasons in this league.

I do believe that Arsenal and Liverpool could be the only ones left after a while. Looking at the situation, City is there too so I think they could do fine, only team that I do not see keep going this good is Villa, they are not going to stay near the top this much, that was a shocker that they are already here but I think this was about it and they will run out of battery and they will not do this well second half of the season.

But, those three teams will try to win no matter what and I think it's quite clear that we are going to see them do a little better than what they expected. City hasn't done that well, but KDB is coming back, and I think that should be changing so much for the club, if he stays healthy and plays well enough.

Tottenham Hotspur is really having a difficult time on this there match against Brighton, however considering how the match is going I don't think Tottenham Hotspur will survive on this match because Brighton possession is higher than Tottenham Hotspur, and within the space of 23 minutes Brighton have scored 2 goals, so perhaps if Tottenham Hotspur did not improve on there performance on the second half am afraid they will conceive more goals than the one they have already gotten, actually the problem with Tottenham Hotspur on this match is that they are not consistent they play with lack of confident, actually this goals is very shocking to everyone because I was thinking Tottenham Hotspur will surely win this match but it was quite unfortunate that they are unable to withstand Brighton.
