There has to be a reason why he failed. For me, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was right when he said in an interview Ten Hag was not the right man for a massive club such as Manchester United and that he was better suited to a smaller club such as Ajax.

Ten Hag did not have the required skills for man management at that level and was going to fail. There is something different about Amorim, I saw his interview today with ex-Manchester United captain Neville and there is no doubt he is going to be successful (if not at Manchester United then his next club). Either way, if the team performed badly the manager ultimately was responsible even if the players were on the pitch and he was in the dugout therefore Ten Hag was sacked.

Fulham should win this game and worst case scenario for them it will end in a draw, I cannot see Wolves winning.

I actually felt pity for ETH because he did tried all he could for the team but it was obvious that luck was not just on his side. Ruud Van Nistelrooy did not do any magic to get the quick results he got, something that ETH could not achieve even if he had used the same squad.

What is it about this specific game that has got you extremely excited and confident Wolves will win the game? Without a doubt you must have realised Fulham have been playing very well considering they are a small team that is dominated by giant clubs.

@Igebotz I see what you saw in Enzo Fernandes now, dude has being on fire since his divorce. Getting a goal and an assist today against Leicester city might just bring back my love for him again. I was hyped about him after we signed him but he started to decline.

He now has 5 assists and a goal in the last 3 matches or so. Glad for the goal as without his goal, we'll be drawing this game again. Sanchez is a mess by the way and we need to get rid of him if we seriously want to challenge for the league next season.

As for Tottenham that you didn't believe in, can you see what they did to Pep and his boys, beating them 4-0 at home. I hope you trust tottenham now lol.

For the first time in his overall managerial career did Guardiola lose five consecutive games. What also has happened three consecutive Premier League losses and this is embarrassing for Manchester City. The game ended 0-4 and Tottenham were superb. Their goalkeeper made a number of excellent saves to keep Manchester City out but throughout the game Tottenham were very good and took their chances when they arose. The Manchester City defence looks weak and lacking confidence. Ever since Haaland insulted Arteta in that game, Manchester City have fallen from their perch and I think that can happen when arrogance becomes a huge part for some players.

Well done to Chelsea and Maresca for their win away at Leicester City in a highly emotional game for both clubs. Also, Arsenal rested key players including Rice for their game against Nottingham Forest and managed to win relatively easy. Brighton go from strength to strength, they are joint 3rd with Chelsea and Arsenal but for inferior goal difference.

I watched every minute of that game and I was super impressed with how Tottenham handled the entirety of their game. The completely blew city away at the Etihad. Haaland was very unlucky today not to have scored one of those chances and Vicario delivered a 5-star rated performance today — as much as I'd like to share in City's pain, I'm actually happy that Liverpool can pick up extra points this early even though we usually fumble the bag towards the end of the season.

I don't know why Guardiola doesn't start KDB when he knows that his midfield lacks the much needed creativity? Gundogan just passes the ball around with no incisive passes.

I didn't know about his divorce, I've not been following our players personal life outside the pitch, I'm happy he finally got his place back to the team, the caciedo X Lavia pivot was never going to work, with Enzo we create more and he's arguably the best passer in the team.

The little secret is I've been following up Fulham and wolves game since the start of this season because I have some of their players on my FPL team, the only weakness of wolves this season has been their defense, I've mentioned it several times here that the moment they finally fix it, they will terrorize teams this season. They play a better football than Fulham, they only got odd advantage because of their home form this season but I was very sure Wolves intense pressing was going to burn them out. I was very sure and they did it.

Fulham vs Aston Villa was another game I called here @2.45 for Aston Villa and it was an easy win for Aston Villa.

The same applies for Guardiola, he cannot keep his entire squad happy but his players have to give 100% whenever they are on the pitch. There's certainly no way he would be able to perform magic on them and get them to win + the EPL is a different ball game. That is something Ruben Amorim will come to understand soon.

In the case of Arne slot, Klopp already finessed the squad so it was easier for him. The bonus was he had preseason to work with the boys too.

I'm saying this because I saw man utd score very early on in the game and heard some of their fans say the new era is already happening haha.

100% agree with this. I know very little about managing a team but the general consensus would be to make changes in the team if the status quo isn't working. I'm not saying Gundogan is a mid but we all know KDB is the only one that can unlock Haaland especially with his assists.

Liverpool continue their excellent form. Manchester United continue their regular form.

Southampton played brilliantly am dominated in periods of the game but in the end Liverpool proved too strong and took charge of the game when it mattered. Manchester United had a superb start by scoring inside two minutes but Ipswich Town fought back and did not let them dominate the game.

I'm saying this because I saw man utd score very early on in the game and heard some of their fans say the new era is already happening haha.

It is a new era but we do not know if it will be the same results yet. We cannot come to a decision after just one game.

Man we're talking about beating Ipwish here not against a top team and for someone how has been with the team for over 2 weeks now should be winning games like that, even if the team has not fully blended together. Manchester City were winning 3-0 then ended the game with a 3-3 draw therefore it was not a loss but certainly must feel like one to them.

I'm not saying that modern day football isn't more about commercial success and money these days...  What I'm saying is with how Man City is set up under Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, Guardiola will never be given the sack unless Guardiola himself says he wants to leave.  

I think Guardiola will leave either at the end of his extended contract or at the end of this season because he probably needs a new challenge and that is the reason why he might find himself managing a top European club rather than another Premier League club. Or maybe he will manage a country as participating in a Euro tournament or World Cup would bring a different challenge.
