After Mayweather successfully knocked out Mikuru Asakura 2 days ago, what's next? he will have another exhibition fight against Deji Olatunji aka KSI brother Cheesy He's a youtuber and gamer, I think he's following KSI path to make money from boxing. He doesn't have any boxing skills and will easily get knocked out in the first round by Mayweather. The fight will happen on Dubai, UAE on November 13, 2020, Mayweather will gain another big cash flow.

Floyd won another exhibition match in Japan,

Quote
The 45-year-old Mayweather dropped Asakura just before the bell sounded to end the second round. He tried to get up, but the southpaw couldn’t quite beat referee Kenny Bayless’ count before it reached 10.

Mayweather won in the main event of a Rizin pay-per-view show at Saitama Super Arena.

https://www.boxingscene.com/floyd-mayweather-drops-stops-mikuru-asakura-end-2nd-round-exhibition--169302

So another mismatch fight for Floyd and another easy money for him as he knock out Asakura in the second round.

Take note that Manny is amongst the crowd though, so maybe after his match against a South korean and then against his former sparring partner, he might go to Japan as well like Floyd and fight.

Of course it's a mismatch Grin I mean, I seriously don't think that Floyd Mayweather would fight someone who have a fair chance in beating the undefeated Floyd. He may say that he's willing to put his record on the line but we already know the truth behind that.

Hopefully we can see another Pacquiao-Mayweather fight even if it's just an exhibition fight, people would surely love that if that's going to happen soon. Even if it's just an exhibition fight these two cannot hide their competitiveness, so we might see classic fight. I'm rooting for it!

Even it is only an exhibition fight, fans will surely love to see both legends about the ring. The chance, though, is slim knowing how
Mayweather will give his excuses.

If ever, just in case that the wind will move in the right direction, maybe a billion of dollars may change his mind. I don't know but
Mayweather can easily bank money from many exhibitions that he might take.

He won't be bothering risking his clean record just to make some amount facing Pacquiao in an exhibition fight.

Well, Floyd Mayweather has a statement, and he said that he's making his intention clear that he wasn't once he used to be, and right now he doesn't want to fight legit boxers he doesn't want to risk fighting them but instead he wants to fight MMA fighter and Youtubers, Mayweather just wants the Exhibition money fights he doesn't care about reputation anymore, I think he already knows to himself that he can not afford to fight a boxer even a retired boxer like Manny Pacquiao and he can not risk having beaten and injured himself to disable him to fight anymore, I think he is OK fitting like these where there is money,

Well sad to say but at the Super RIZIN post-fight news conference he has been asked if there is a chance that he could fight his former rival, Manny Pacquiao, even in an exhibition match he said that he would not face Manny Pacquaio or any high-level boxer out there just Youtubers and MMA fighters, he retired for a reason and that is to fight high-level fighters in the craft that he is good of, and making entertainment for the people that are watching he added that he is just enjoying himself,

So that's it that is why we can not see any big Exhibition fights like Manny Pacquiao VS Floyd Mayweather that can rack much money or PPV in an instance, but he doesn't want to risk that, but if he would like MMA only fighter I want him fighting Anderson Silva,

I watched the match. Japanese guy wasn't even the professional boxer opposite Floyd Mayweather. The man is a Youtuber. Of course, such people don't stand a chance against Money Mayweather. The exhibition match was supposed to last 3 rounds, but at the end of the 2nd round, Money Mayweather knocked out his opponent. In fact, he was also surprised because he didn't expect such a knockdown at the last second. I thought we were going to watch the last round of the match.
Still, it was a fun night. Manny Pacquiao was also one of the guests and Floyd spoke very highly of him. From what I heard, Floyd Mayweather won 15-20 million dollars from this match. It's very easy money for him.
It wasn't pleasant for the Japanese to throw the flower on the ground while the flowers were being presented at the beginning of the match. I guess that was part of the show too.

He may be a Youtuber, but he got decent records in Rizin and even though he is not a pure boxer you can see his boxing side that he can surely fight he has a prominent style that he is very likely familiar with and that is Karate, Boxing and BJJ and he is a purple belt on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but he surely wants to brawl we can say Floyd Mayweather always have the upper hand here because he is well versed with his boxing and the match rules were on boxing so this prohibits Asakura most of his technique, so even though the two is not entering the ring Mayweather got the advantage,

The flower was just part of the show but it was really an insult to Mayweather, and I think out of respect Mayweather just picks up the flowers, but I think deep inside he is really upset because Floyd's fight patterns were off he does not see his usual Philly shell defense but was trying to brawl with Mikuru Asakura he surely wants a knockout in this match, and that is why Asakura has seen he also make some heavy blows on Mayweather, but as the fight goes definitely Floyd Mayweather is really aiming for a knockout,

Nothing to oppose, as you mentioned it right. Mayweather's advantage is by far. Boxing rules and the trainings even Asakura extend his effort trying to learn and make things happen for him in front of his home crowd, Its still the experienced of Mayweather that rise high, the chance is really slim beating an undefeated legend especially if he's the one who's dictating the fight much better to say the one who choose his opponent for an easy money making exhibition fight.

After this, we will see him again fighting another personality that will give him more dollars, the Dubai venue is ideal for money making fights, knowing the locals are wealthy and capable of buying tickets and watch the fight.

Damn, 20 - 30 million is a dream money fight for some of the elite boxers that we have right now, Canelo is still the cash cow, but GGG get around that money fighting him. So just imagine those lower weight class champion, I doubt that they can get around how much Floyd is making in exhibition fight in like 6 minutes.

I guess that's just one of the perks that a famous boxer could enjoy in their retirement years, $30 Million is already a guaranteed money because there's almost no way that his foe will defeat him in an exhibition fight especially the fight have took place in the ring where he is the dominant. I'm also curious though if the organizers can really get more than what they gave? $30 Million is already a huge money, a money that a lower weight class champion cannot even earn in a year.

The fight will happen on Dubai, UAE on November 13, 2020, Mayweather will gain another big cash flow.

I'm also not sure who is next but probably he will do one last exhibition fight for this year because I've read that Mayweather is planning to get a fight with McGregor for the second time next year and they could have been talking already behind the red curtain. If this happens, I believe it will produce millions worth of revenues just like what happened in their first fight.

Quote
"I am not into fights where I am going to take any real punishment," Mayweather said of his preference for an exhibition. "So, guys like Conor McGregor and guys that don't really hit hard such as YouTubers or UFC guys, I don't really mind colliding with those kinds of individuals but nothing where I am going to put myself in a position where I am going to harm myself or hurt myself."
Link

In his statement, it's safe to assume that he won't put his belt on the line again and won't be taking fights that will get him hurt. In other words, all of the fight he'll making is already a guaranteed in his part. He is just taking advantage of the situation while he is still famous.

Or even the now the cash cow or at least the biggest fighter which is by the way, another Japanese fighter - Naoya Inoue. Those guys can't even see $1 million every fight.

That is the biggest question, but perhaps they are making money because they can stage fight after fight in Japan with Floyd's name on it. Floyd is really a good businessman, building a relationship with RIZIN and make fights with that huge amount of money even if he is retired from active professional boxing.

Sometimes I ask myself, could this be possible if Japan mafia uses such fight for money laundering. I mean it is obvious that Floyd would win and his opponent is a complete mismatch. Paying such huge rewards for few minutes sparring? I bet Floyd did not even train for that fight.
Floyd is just enjoying his life with all of these part time huge pay checks that he's getting. Well, whoever are the organizers behind it, they've got budget for it and for sure it's all about bigger marketing that they've set for it.
Everybody now wants to be Floyd on how he makes money and enjoying the fame that he's got. But, I've watched a video of him on how he's serious with his business and matches like this is part of it so, he's just working hard.

Also, if they are not giving a good returns, they should have stop during the first exhibition fight of Floyd in Japan. And it's better though if we will se the number of live gates or if this is PPV televised not just in Japan or somewhere else. So that we can gauge how big the fight is and speculated on how much Rizin company is making.

Because it's seems to be bigger than a fight in the UK or US with promotions like Top Rank and Matchroom.

I have forgotten about that fight, thanks for reminding. Another easy money for Floyd. Google says that Floyd would get 20 millions if he competes and 30 if he wins that fight, and most funny, 1.5 million if he appears on a press conference. Surprisingly, this exhibition fight last more than 1 round.

Because it's seems to be bigger than a fight in the UK or US with promotions like Top Rank and Matchroom.

let's go back to TopTort's question about using this exhibition fight as money laundering scheme. for me, it is very possible. but we can't say for sure because such activity will be done discretely so it is not a public knowledge. and of course, no one will confirm that this is happening. but the possibility is always there. with tons of money involve, we can't discard such motives.

I'm not sure with the details, maybe you can dig on that part if ever it's available on the web. Well, if it's not going to give good return then the organizer didn't pushed for it.
But it seems that it's successful just like any other showmatches that has been with Floyd. And every time that Floyd is involved, there have been a lot of money flowing not just for him but also for the organizers and are part of the fights where he's the main event for the show match.
We'll see more again that will invite him to go to their respective countries just for a showmatch.

Yup! I agree, and Mikuru Asakura also flew from Japan to the Philippines, for boxing tips against Mayweather, to the 8 division Champion Manny Pacquiao, I surely salute his dedication to his craft, but I guess because of the tips Pacman gave him he has shown a great fight towards Floyd Mayweather because despite the great defense of Floyd Mayweather he has gotten solid punch on Mayweather, but because Mayweather has more experience than Asakura when it comes to boxing, and that later gap has shown when Mayweather got an opportunity on Asakura and caught him that knock him out,

Next for Floyd Mayweather, is a Youtuber, retired or active MMA fighter, but not a legit legendary boxer, that could cost him his precious money and an injury that could ruin his career, he is out there to enjoy and make money,

That is why Floyd Mayweather is continuously accepting exhibition fights while he still can he surely wants  to rack up that money until he can not fight anymore, I truly love his mindset, so if he can not do these exhibition fights anymore he can surely live a comfortable and secure life, and money is so much tastier if it comes from your own hard work, Consistently he could rack up millions of dollar in just his exhibition fights,

Link

In his statement, it's safe to assume that he won't put his belt on the line again and won't be taking fights that will get him hurt. In other words, all of the fight he'll making is already a guaranteed in his part. He is just taking advantage of the situation while he is still famous.

Floyd Mayweather will keep on doing this until he can not anymore, but he is taking fights likely to his advantage, if it is not a legit boxer, I think MMA fighters could have a chance of winning against him if that MMA fighter had the background in doing it, and for me, Anderson Silva is the MMA/boxer that I want Mayweather to fight,

Anderson Silva is another easy money for Floyd Mayweather. That guy is old. He only won over Julio Chavez Jr. because the kid is having tons of issues with his life. With a referee like Kenny Bayless, even Francis Ngannou is easy money for Floyd Mayweather in a 12 round boxing match. MMA fighters with good boxing and have the energy to survive the whole 12 rounds are Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya. But Floyd Mayweahter is a very smart businessman, he won't fight Adesanya given his height, reach, average boxing skills and stamina.

They'll get more if they sold more tickets.
Regardless though, these organizers will not pursue exhibition matches if they don't get a handsome profit from it. May it be they get more than what the boxer gets or the other way around, they are still earning millions.
Put Mayweather or Pacquiao or anyone who's retired and formerly dominates in any combat sports in the ring for an exhibition match, and we can easily tell it's a guaranteed money.

It's make sense if Mayweather want to fight against Silva, but for Francis Ngannou, Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya? Grin that's really a big joke for me. They're a champion in their own weight except Usman that has beaten by Edwards few weeks ago, of course they wouldn't want to ruin their reputation and name because of money. Only a weak or unknown fighter will agree to take exhibition fight against an old popular person, this because they're willing to lose only to get huge pay check.

Logically right! Promoters will not spend time and effort just to pay the fighter's check but for making decent money,
they continue to bring exhibition fights to earn as simple as that.

Look how Mayweather collecting easy money from those fights that he made, and now,
we will see also Pacquiao doing his own versions of exhibition.

Maybe the difference is Pacquiao announces that the profits will go to the chosen charity while for Mayweather every
sweat means a huge amount of dollars.

I think the feeling is mutual for Anderson to look and fight Mayweather in the future. But again, it will go down as how financially this fight is going to be. Both are legends in their own right, but Floyd is really making easy money fighting Japanese fighters that are not even in his level. So if ever Floyd will fight another ex-MMA, I think he will still look for Conor as this is the best lucrative fight for him and Conor himself. Anderson might have to fall in line to fight Floyd in exhibitions match.

I know Japan is a very rich country too. Japan is the third biggest economy in the world after the US and China. But I'm still wondering how they are willing to pay $20 million dollars just to see Mayweather facing a non-boxer. Or the Japanese just had a different taste when it comes to sports. I heard Rizin is very popular there and they also had superstars just like K1 before and they are paid well.

On the other hand, yesterday I read a line that Mayweather had a done deal with Connor McGregor. Must be a hoax, but not surprising considering how these athletes talk and hype themselves.

By the way, Floyd Mayweather is currently in the Philippines. He must be looking for Naruto after dispatching Sakura.

They probably very rich as they can afford Floyd, but I posted earlier about the speculation that the money or at least Rizin's head is tied up with Japanese Yakuza.

On the other hand, yesterday I read a line that Mayweather had a done deal with Connor McGregor. Must be a hoax, but not surprising considering how these athletes talk and hype themselves.

Probably just a click bait article.

By the way, Floyd Mayweather is currently in the Philippines. He must be looking for Naruto after dispatching Sakura.

Bad timing for Floyd, as it's monsoon season here so probably Naruto is hiding somewhere. Probably it's better for Floyd to hunt Godzilla if he wants challenge.  Grin
