Raheem Sterling should be the best attack minded player for Chelsea but this lad is too moody and if you get him on his bad day, be prepared to blank, congrats team Chelsea

Why not take -4 hit and transfer one of them out? If you don't have 11 players to field that is almost free since you are getting at minimum 2 points from the one you brought in.

I did just that and took out Estupinan for Porro. Now I have better player going forward and 2 points more this week.

Because I'm an idiot that's new to fantasy - it actually didn't occurr to me at all.
When I see that I can't make transfers, I take it for granted.

I don't think anyone would be naive enough to fall for this Chelsea's obvious glitch against one of the worse teams in the league, Chelsea still lack composure and the players seemingly don't even know their roles on the pitch and are often looking confused during play, and it's not getting any better because one can't also predict what, how and who Pochettino actually want in this team, I didn't know that Cole Palmer is the new PK taker, or is it just a one time because if not, that should mean more playing time is intended for Palmer right ? If that is the case, then Palmer is the player I'd likely consider getting first from Chelsea ahead of any other outfield player.

At this point Rashford is a definitive sell, he is in bad form and what is worse he started loosing points to Garnacho. Fernandes looks more dangerous, plays 90+ every game, has penalties and he is cheaper. No brainier for me, if somebody wants to cover United it must be Fernandes or maybe Hojlund. They will start playing good sooner or later. When I say good I mean better then at the moment

Negative points for transfers are just that, not good or bad inherently. Every one of us must judge if that -4 will get him more points or not in the end. 2 seasons ago I went -12 and earned about 60 more points over 3GW just because of that. When there is long term injury or some drastic change -4 almost always pays off. When it is just points chasing and switching between 6.5M mids like Mitoma/Mbuemo/Diaby/Eze while all 4 play and have similar fixtures you will almost always end up regretting it.

I can't tell but he's becoming important part of Poch team and that wasn't just any PK; it was a crucial PK with Sterling, Jackson, and Enzo still on the pitch, and he took it with ease; I'm betting he's the new PK taker. Sterling and Enzo has been scrape off the PK duty

Palmer 5G/A in 3 games  and on PK duty looks like a steal at his price. My Son captaincy didn't go as planned. The early red card ruined the game.

I will take the L for Sterling. If he keeps up the form, then I'd be pained for sure. Jackson is almost forgotten then he finally gets a goal today. Jackson was consistently giving 0-1 returns for several weeks because of his back to back yellow cards. It's always when you least expect them that they'd deliver.

Maybe I'm bias or that I've gotten one too many regrets due to Sterling + Trippier transfers out just before they give good returns but I'm still banking of Rashford. I think he's going to improve soon. I watched him against Arsenal and he still has potential but I agree, his returns could be a lottt better.

For 8.8M midfielder, definitely terrible returns.

You should think about Rashford OUT Palmer IN before the  international break + Palmer is on PK duty now.

He earned himself another GW today, he did fantastic! Every time I tried to remove him from my team, he gave me reasons not to. I considered getting Palmer for the entire week but opted to wait until after the international break. Now I'm wishing I had done it sooner.

Hahahahahahaha, surely this makes me smile. At least seeing someone having same thoughts as myself been in the same Rashford predicament. One thing I know for sure, he ain’t staying on my team until GW9 on my team. Maybe I don’t get to wait longer than tonight to let loose of him. I’m thinking Maddison or even my transfer funds allows, then Son would be a best pick.

A compensation for sure but not enough for 5GWS still, it’s better than none as the case have been with him for a while. GW8 seems to have been all about Sterling, he made the Chelsea fixture against Burnley his game by being involved in all the goals.

Mctominay and Maguire saved Erik Ten Hag's job. Sure nobody has both players on their team. Casimero and Bruno wo I have on my team from Manchester United cored very low points, Fernandes with 2 points and Casimero with 1

I had Jackson, I transferred him out, and he scored but I do not regret it. My regret is who I exchanged him for that is Awoniyi, bad news this week is Awoniyi did not play due to a groin injury, and he will expectedly return in November.

The only Chelsea player worth keeping is Cole Palmer. The young lad is a talent.

My initial pick there was Son - they both went for 9 points. I adore Son and hate Rashford, but a friend who follows PL like a total freak told me Rashford will be top 3 goalscorer in the league.
When I laughed it off, he bombarded me with stats and analysis.

I went with Maddison, another player I should have picked instead of this useless overrated English headless chicken from a totally disbalanced club.

Goodluck on your Rashford replacement. I might join you later on if his poor form continues. I got Maddison for gw9 and upwards - hopefully you and I aren't late to the points parties Maddison is throwing every week. The deal with Rashford is that the entirety of Man Utd team is currently dysfunctional. Onana is letting goals in instead of keeping them out, most of man utd attacks are currently futile. Ten hag creating more problems for squad members – it's more of an individual showcase than team work now.

The main reason I'm skeptical with replacing Rashford is because of past experiences with Trippier and Sterling. I replaced them and the following week, they were high flyers.

I replaced Rashford, expect him to score 14 goals in the next 5 games.

I will be there no matter what

Arsenal-City game might not have concluded yet but its safe to  say City forwards have all blanked and most likely this is looking like a goalless game that will reward anybody having defenders or goalies as their assets.
Otherwise Arsenal put up a brave fight

Am not surprised you went for Maddison as you are among the few FPL mangers I know that root for this lad and keeps getting you some decent points...am considering getting him soon

this round is basically few bad decision from my side, most being not putting Pickford on goal, leaving Pope there
but that was a hedge for Everton home win after four loses in a row

Son instead of Haaland proved to be almost the same
Saka being on bench not being very tough on me, since all others played at least some minutes

Well needed pause for me in all the pools and Fantasy. In the end turned out to be good GW for me as I managed to get right captain. If only City scored one goal today it would have been perfect Sunday with a nice ticket to celebrate.

Congratulations to Kanapka, this GW winner. That WC chip did you good and I am not sure how you went with Pau but he is the one that brought you this win. Of course in combination with Salah captaincy, but there was more of us getting that right.

My highlights for the game

-William Saliba cancelled out Erling Haaland (Never want to hear that he deserves the Balon, he is a ghost in big games, today is another proof).

-Doku came in had a go at Zichenko, did not work, he switched wings and went to Ben White, Ben White made a bigger mess of him and even nutmegged him

-Declan Rice is a big buy for Arsenal, the tackles that he wins cleanly are unbelievable and his clearance saved Arsenal a goal.

-Foden and Alvarez were ghosts in the game as well like Haaland.

-Havertz created the assist for Martinelli that led to the goal, he has had two good games scoring in the last one and creating a crucial assist in the second.

-Arsenal did it without Saka.

Rashford has hurt many teams (mine too) and the paradox is that apparently he will continue to do so. At the moment I don’t know if it’s worth changing him - after all, he can’t be terrible all season? Theoretically, he should "revert to the mean" and therefore should show at least a few very good results. But this hope may be in vain and he will continue to drag teams to the bottom.

A vital 10 points gained from my captain to narrow my deficit from the top to 50 points. But my defense still needs work. I lost over 40 points from defenders between gameweeks 6 to 7.

@icopress it was a good run, but the back-to-back wins from Chelsea was not enough to bring them to the top 4. So now we will tussle money
