In my personal opinion, Manchester City has the best team in England and Europe for the last few years, they are led by a coach who has won the Champions League with Barcelona many times, but Manchester City still failed to win the Champions League even though they tried everything they could.
The owners of PSG also invested a lot of money and time to bring the biggest stars to their team, Mbappe, Neymar and Messi but they also failed to win the Champions League, even though it is their biggest desire.
On the other hand, Real Madrid has won the Champions League several times in recent years, although they were never the main favorites.
It's really hard to explain what it takes for a club to win the Champions League, what is the x-factor. In my opinion, it's about the compactness of the team, the unity of the team and the confidence and great mental strength.

Real Madrid weren't favorites last season, but back when they won the Champions League 3 times in a row and when Ronaldo was in his prime, they were favorites every season.
As for the X factor, there is none. There is a bit of randomness as this is a knockout game and not a round robin.

Honestly,  this game is so unpredictable to tell which one of the teams will be the winner. This two teams are strong , any little mistakes from any of the teams can give the other advantage of winning the game.  Sometimes when big teams like this meets winning comes by luck. PSG will definitely play the trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, because this is a must win match for them. Speaking of the players performance in the world cup just concluded and in their own French league, I would say they are red hot and ready to dismantle the Bayern Munich defense. 
The score margin would defiantly exceed >1.5goals, if I were to play it safe. if it crosses into an extra time, and then to penalty, although am not hoping it gets to that, PSG has better chances of winning.

This is definitely worth waiting for, moreover we know that sometimes in this round or in the top 8 round there are always some surprises that happen every season and it could be like this season too.
On the other hand this is a decent opener in my opinion regardless they are a big club who have always been said to be the rulers of the farmers league and they are currently playing against each other.
This is one of the games I've been waiting for apart from Madrid's replay against Liverpool. Both have the same chance to beating each other. There's no reason just caused by PSG has great trio and it didn't mean PSG was unbeatable. Bayern was still in preparation to build its team again. Some players who got injured already made bayern lost some of its best players. Bayern needs time to re build the team again caused b it will be facing PSG. The match gonna be the best match caused by we will be seeing the top team from bundesliga will be facing the best team that was always dominating the french league.
Both were coming from the farmers league. We will see which team that will be winning the match. Im sure that with so many experience owned by Bayern and bayern will be beating PSG easily
