33 days did 4000 push-ups, that's not a bad record. My body is really improving these days, I have been eating a lot of meat (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and gizzard).

Yesterday I bought a burrito with mixed proteins.
You have completed 4000 push-ups in 33 days which is very good. I have completed 3000 push-ups in 34 days, here I have done 1000 push-ups less than you. Doing push-ups makes the body very beautiful and you can have a slim body. You may be able to do push-ups regularly every day and eat good food due to which your body is getting more fitness.

Today I woke up and completed push-ups. I completed 80 push-ups in 4 sets today, just like every day.

Regular push-ups is good for the body and keeps someone fit. I added 120 pushups today in 5 sets.

Doing 120 push-ups in one day is really amazing. I'm trying hard, and I can do 80 push-ups in 4 sets every day. I can do 20 push-ups in each set. The more you try, the more you can do.

I woke up this morning and completed push-ups. Like every day, I completed 80 push-ups in 4 sets today.

Yes, the more you keep doing push-ups every day the more you see how many you can do in one set with time. Your arms will keep adjusting to the increase because they can carry your weight properly.

Also don't forget that if you stop for some time you will go back to square one. That is the disadvantage of stopping your pushup routine. It needs consistency.

37,000 push-ups in the books now.  I remain impressed with myself as it seems surreal that it has been nearly a year already.  Scary how fast time flies.  I wish I had started this on January 1st, but I hadn't come across the idea yet.  Still, it's starting to feel like Christmas Eve for me.  As dumb as it may seem, doing this every single day for a year has shown me how easy it is to make a small change that over time makes a big difference.  This is a good metaphor for dollar cost averaging into Bitcoin.  Stick with something small long enough and it will have a big impact.

Also don't forget that if you stop for some time you will go back to square one. That is the disadvantage of stopping your pushup routine. It needs consistency.

If you are training naturally without using steroids etc., it's okay to take a break, as long as you return to your routine. The body knows how to protect itself, in a natural physique the muscles don't deteriorate immediately. A few days or even a few weeks won’t be a problem. However, make sure not to extend the break for too long. Smiley

I continued with a total of 120 push-ups in 6 sets. I feel good, I will increase my numbers this week. Bitcoin also had a small drop but recovered immediately. We need to continue this challenge stronger.

the lack of heat for 4 days last week and celebration of my 68 birthday made me to decide to take a long break from Jan 25 to Feb 1

I will attempt to do my 120 pushups on feb 1 along with my 250 steps up then down ie: 21 flights of stairs.

I understand that every once in a while it could be good to take a break, yet on a personal level, I might have difficulties weaving in a break that I consider to be meaningful. 

Last June/July I reduced my number of pushups per set and also my number of pushup sets per day for right around 2 months, and that kind of a reduction seemed to have had contributed towards my becoming weaker and weaker during that period, even though I continued to do a certain quantity of maintenance pushups every day.  What ever benefits that I got from the reduction in regards to my time management did not seem to be enough of a benefit to really make up for the reduction in my pushups.. and so maybe there was a bit of a sign that I was still needing to build my pushups and not to reduce my pushups. 

And, perhaps my overall conclusion was that my mission had not been accomplished...so for me, I continue to push on.. even if the process and even the time it takes can sometimes be inconvenient and not pleasant.

Also don't forget that if you stop for some time you will go back to square one. That is the disadvantage of stopping your pushup routine. It needs consistency.
If you are training naturally without using steroids etc., it's okay to take a break, as long as you return to your routine. The body knows how to protect itself, in a natural physique the muscles don't deteriorate immediately. A few days or even a few weeks won’t be a problem. However, make sure not to extend the break for too long. Smiley

I continued with a total of 120 push-ups in 6 sets. I feel good, I will increase my numbers this week. Bitcoin also had a small drop but recovered immediately. We need to continue this challenge stronger.

I agree with this and I am on a break.
the lack of heat for 4 days last week and celebration of my 68 birthday made me to decide to take a long break from Jan 25 to Feb 1

I will attempt to do my 120 pushups on feb 1 along with my 250 steps up then down ie: 21 flights of stairs.

I understand that every once in a while it could be good to take a break, yet on a personal level, I might have difficulties weaving in a break that I consider to be meaningful. 

Last June/July I reduced my number of pushups per set and also my number of pushup sets per day for right around 2 months, and that kind of a reduction seemed to have had contributed towards my becoming weaker and weaker during that period, even though I continued to do a certain quantity of maintenance pushups every day.  What ever benefits that I got from the reduction in regards to my time management did not seem to be enough of a benefit to really make up for the reduction in my pushups.. and so maybe there was a bit of a sign that I was still needing to build my pushups and not to reduce my pushups. 

And, perhaps my overall conclusion was that my mission had not been accomplished...so for me, I continue to push on.. even if the process and even the time it takes can sometimes be inconvenient and not pleasant.

Some have good resilience and stress-management pattern whereas others don't. Rest is what works for almost all when it comes to soreness or joints. Sorry for the pain. Taking a time off will let you heal quickly and return back stronger. Get a proper medical attention and get a good nutrition. I suggest a stroll every evening until you get better, it sometimes helps in quick relief.
I added 120 pushups today early enough in 5 sets.

I’ve had toe pain from time to time in the past and have found a couple things that work. I don’t have the literary skills to describe a stretch I do that helps, but I did find this image of an exercise you can do to help strengthen your toe. It has worked for me to eliminate toe joint pain so maybe it could help you. You can even do it using the bath mat while sitting on the toilet.

Mine is knee joint, i feel inflamed and pain whenever i stay calm after walking for some time. I believe it's a case of arthritis, we hardly get injured on this part of the body especially when you do not stretch them for long each day, i play football sometimes not always but in case still wondering if there could be any physical therapy i can begin at home to ease the painful sensation. I already tried lifting my legs when lying down or sleeping at night, i do some jogging and also play on the field, keeping calm with it may not heal, not interested in going to see a doctor except it goes worsts than this.

Quick push-ups today as I've been pretty busy with other things.  2 sets with the first being 65.  I feel better and better going above 50 push-ups in a single set, but it still starts getting rough for me above 60.  I think I could probably push it to 80, but 100 still seems like a pipe dream.  I also see as I count down my final days to a year that I started this challenge on February 2nd, so it looks like 2024 was a leap year and I won't be able to say I completed a year until I finish 366 days.  So...  3 more days...

Back with my report once again  Smiley
So after lastweek Monday~ Wednesday drop in my push-up report, I picked up 100 push-up / day for the rest of the week( Friday &Saturday) and this week to cover up little from lastweek’s push-ups.
From last week Friday to this week Wednesday I was able to do 100 pushups/day in three sets..in total, I was able to cover 100x5=>500Pus in 5 days  Smiley
