I see the mintpal votes are coming on slowly but surely, atm there is no rush to get onto Mintpal but the votes are highly appreciated. It would be better for NLG to get onto these exchanges by them approaching us instead of the other way around. The main reason we wanted a 2nd exchange is for litebit and bluetrade can fill that role in the meantime.

For those that don't know you can vote for guldencoin at the below link if you have done 1 trade on mintpal before no matter how small or big. This gives you 5 votes per hour.

https://www.mintpal.com/voting

This is a great approach as it means more coming for NLG but I would say keep pushing the votes because it will show Mintpal that there is a active community behind it.

Mintpal has joined the ranks of cryptsy now where they will add Pump and Dump (scam) coins with no future first as they have a lot more volume, just focus on getting merchants to keep accepting Guldencoin and creating more value, if people want NLG right now they will go to bittrex. Getting onto exchanges without the intention to pump is not going to create more volume.

I love what this coin is about and the attitude of the dev team, I will put my hand up and say I supported EFL initially but when I thought about things more it's clear NLG has a greater purpose and can actually work well in the Netherlands. Keep up the good work.

See profiletext below. If you post more often on bitcointalk, maybe an idea to make others aware also.

After some 'issues' with finding a good IRC host, we have had a good talk with the Dutch website Tweakers.net.

We have been allowed to register a channel on their server. Details:
irc.tweakers.net
#Guldencoin
Language: Dutch
Owner: F1k
Operators to be determined.

If there are enough votes for an English channel we can work that out too.

Nice, but why not freenode? Everyone else is there...

Tweakers.net is a Dutch tech community.
Freenode staff is unwilling to help us register a channel on their server.
I'm not going to spend a month begging ops to reg me a channel, I have better things to do. Tweakers embraced us. Let's go with positive in stead of resistance Smiley

Are you sure you can accept any possible answer to this question?

That is good considering it is a Dutch community, this is what NLG is about.

I also mentioned on the EFL ANN that the dutch community needs to back 1 currency in order for NLG or EFL to survive, imo NLG has the right supply to do better long term, but EFL has some good marketing, just the coin itself won't work as a currency but that is my personal opinion.

Awareness will grow rapidly this way! The most sceptic collegue about crypto at my work, wasn't that sceptic anymore after seeing how to pay with the mobile wallet at Subway. Considered to buy some NLG. That's what real payments at local stores with a big name can do, people have to see it for real. Keep up the good work!!

Yes this is simply amazing. Currencies is about use not about currency trading that 99% of the newer coins are being used for. Pump Pump Pump, Dump Dump Dump, rince and repeat... That is not healthy for cryptos going mainstream when newbies keep getting burnt by these scam coins.

Excellent job to the Guldencoin Team and community!

I just knew something was going to happen today. This coin proves that it's here to stay, the dev team is working hard on getting this coin accepted mainstream. It's unreal how well this is doing only a few weeks in, respect to the dev team. At first I was backing EFL and not to say one bad word about them but NLG just simply is doing things way better and that with hardly any press. What's next, buying a beer in an Amsterdam bar with Guldencoin?

When you download and use the new wallet software, your old wallet.dat file will still be used. Have you deleted that file? Hope you have made a backup of it, if so.

didn't delete it, but I guess the wallet doesn't recognize it and creates new address?

It would be good to see a few more votes coming through on Mintpal here, especially as Subway no2 has been announced!
Moving rapidly up the voting list would get the attention of others, and help advance the coin.

Strange. When you download and use the new wallet software, your old wallet.dat file will still be used. Have you deleted that file? Hope you have made a backup of it. Don't delete the new wallet.dat, save it elsewhere untill the problem is over. I am not experienced in this.

didn't delete it, but I guess the wallet doesn't recognize it and creates new address?

Wallet.dat is situated in C:\user\Appdata\Roaming\Guldencoin\. Maybe there is a copy of your old one there? I have never been into this, so maybe it is, maybe it isn't. If so, you can rename it to wallet.dat again. Don't delete any wallet.dat, save copies of it elsewhere until problem solved. I am not experienced in this.

so you can't recreate wallet address with API key right? that's for some other purpose?

I see now in your postings that you had the dafuqcoin? It was a scam and had a trojanvirus in it to steal coins from your computer if you ran the wallet. So maybe it is that?? Hopefully you made a backup on usb.

See posting above. He downloaded possibly the dafuqcoin wallet, which had a trojan in it to steal coins. Hopefully there is a backup somewhere.
