just remove the = sign yea i know found that out so i have added those nodes , now i am waiting for it i did them added like this : addnode seed6.guldencoin.com add that worked out , now its waiting time to see what happend next stil : 1 active connection to the guldencoin network should i restart the wallet after the added nodes ? |

The following can be useful for other members with difficulties concerning the wallet update. Made by the ultracoin dev, so just replace all 'ultracoin' into 'guldencoin': HOW TO UPDATE THE WALLET: Step 1 : Type %appdata% in the windows search box (you see it when you click the start button) Step 2 : Find the ultracoin folder Step 3 : Copy the wallet.dat into a backup folder, do NOT delete or cut it! Step 4 : Delete everything in the appdata/ultracoin, but DO NOT DELETE THE WALLET.DAT Step 5 : Download this file http://speedy.sh/YUcJb/Ultracoin-release-1.0.2-qt.rarStep 6 : Extract the folder from the download somewhere,now drag the Ultracoin-qt.exe from the new download into your normal wallet folder (not into the appdata/ultracoin folder but your wallet folder) Step 7 : Click yes when it asks do you want to replace the file. Step 8 : Start the wallet,it will now download the entire blockchain again (this will take some time). |

I'll get the team tech to look at it ok windows 7 but in console i used : addnode seed1.guldencoin.com add addnode seed2.guldencoin.com add addnode seed3.guldencoin.com add addnode seed4.guldencoin.com add addnode seed5.guldencoin.com add addnode seed6.guldencoin.com add restarted the client and that worked ok now i have 6 active connections to the network but it stuck at 11 days to go |

oke i am trying to help out here wen you install e new wallet there will always a new wallet.dat file created, so what you do first backup the "old" wallet.dat file to other location, like usb or other folder remember where you put it, then install new wallet client after that copy the "old" wallet.dat ( you wallet with the coins in it ) file into the proper folder as in windows 7 administrator roaming then you coinfolder restart the client and there it is See posting above. He downloaded possibly the dafuqcoin wallet, which had a trojan in it to steal coins. Hopefully there is a backup somewhere. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=575281.400Yeah thanks for all the help guys, but I think all the coins are gone...I did download dafuqcoin wallet at one point...it was weird when I first ran the wallet, this never happened to me before and I had no backup...screw it, I guess it's just a part of the learning curve |

It would be good to see a few more votes coming through on Mintpal here, especially as Subway no2 has been announced! Moving rapidly up the voting list would get the attention of others, and help advance the coin. https://www.mintpal.com/voting#NLGMintpal votes almost over 2000 now, NLG has overtaken a lot of coins without putting much btc into the votes and the mintpal voting systems has been up for over 3 months now? So NLG has a lot of catching up to do. |

that works like a charm but i did leave these files in the folder peers.dat and wallet.dat all others i deleted en copyed the “blocks” folder and “chainstate” folder into the guldencoin folder it worked out and sync right away , thanks for this explanation however this page https://guldencoin.com/synchronisation/ is not seen from the guldencoin website i did not see a link to that page just it was here posted ! thanks for help and we hope people wil go on making donations on behalf on our project : http://savegreyhound.hol.es/ see donation page for more details thank you |
