WHATS difference STORJCOIN vs STORJ ?

I see one listed on poloniex.com : STORJCOIN

the other is not listed anywhere : Storj

TL;DR: SJCX is counterparty based. STORJ is an ethereum ERC20 token. (In theory) all SJCX is to be converted to the new STORJ. Bittrex converted all their SJCX and only works with STORJ token now. Poloniex still works with SJCX.

It's advised that you convert all your SJCX by yourself because Polo has not shown (until now) any official sign of following Bittrex's footsteps...

Yes, I sent to converter address multiple times. But then I actually found that if I just waited, there were arbitrage opportunities to sell on poloni and buy on bittrex.

Coin value plus 40 percent. Wtf 

I am not surprised of this sudden increase because yesterday I was planning to buy in next 2 days seeing where price were sitting. I was expecting there will be bounce back and again I missed the opportunity not having money to buy. My waiting period is extended again till next drop to make entry point.

quick question, is the integration with filezilla a degree of centralization? I understand the actual files are still sharded and sent all over, but will filezilla have access to any of the private keys, or is it simply a front end that is unable to monitor or control data?

I'm fine with that because I like the fact that we're one of the few couple of people that are actually doing this but in order for you to get New Year's you're going to have to make it a little bit

But doesn't this defeat one of two strengths of storj? 1) being decentralized storage so it distributes demand globally making cloud storage more efficient. 2) Decentralized so that your data is truly secure and owned by only you.

By eliminating #2, storj is then quite similar to Uber--partially decentralized. I'm not saying that this partnership with Filezilla is bad. If storj reaches Uber status, we are all very wealthy. lol. I just wanted to be sure I understood the situation correctly.
