You've already done enough damage to this company, one which actually tried from the start with the best intentions  and is still trying where most didn't and where most have just given up. Just let it go, and maybe you'll get a refund with the others. Otherwise the same enthusiasm and efforts you've thrown into this will come back at you two times fold later on. This is just a forum, but your crap has had a direct impact on clients getting their machines, and a  direct impact on the progress of alternative solutions after IMET botched the job. If we didn't loose two months dealing with your bullshit everyone would have been mining by now. Your very nicely timed, and very  poorly executed "class action" is just another obstacle to overcome.

A lawsuit is what you get when you lie to customers and fail to deliver. Don't try to blame your customers. You are the failure.

Nice AMT- deleting my posts now?
here it is again Smiley

Good, thread deletions and veiled threats towards a person you are in court with. Fancy.

You damaged all of your customers by failing to produce the products they ordered either on time or in working condition. Clenell didn't do that. As a customer of yours, his only recourse was to sue you, not sit around waiting for you to make it right. Based on your history of lies, why would anyone believe that you were actually going to do anything about it without some legal action?
I completely agree with this statement. If you had delivered a working product on time, Clenell wouldn't have had to take legal action. You need to stop blaming him for really it is your fault. You need to own up to your mistakes and try to rectify them. I know that you're trying to do this, but making threats really makes a negative impression even if you're trying to make things right. Don't blame a customer for your mistakes. His actions might have further delayed you, but thats YOUR fault AMT! He just did something that was eventually going to happen if you failed to deliver a working product on time... And don't think that's just your problem, it happens in business every day. What do businesses do that can usually come out of these situations ahead? They ADMIT to their mistakes, DON'T THREATEN customers, DON'T BLAME customers for their mistakes, and have complete TRANSPARENCY to every situation.

/applause for deleting all of yesterdays posts AMT.

takes a bow.

There are several men, who are very upset with you. They understand our situation in full, and have been informed of every step we've taken and action we've had to take because of your borderline crazyness. Most of them you've already spoken to and have found you to be quite annoying. They realize we're rectifying it through very interesting ways, and realize you are the source of instigation from a legal standpoint which has caused unnecessary expenditures as well as further delays. It's not us you need to worry about, it's them. We advise you to stop.

what a fantasy world you live in. do you have any idea how hard it is to take anything you say seriously?

I intend to coarsen. I want stark contrasts drawn. I want polarization. I will not quietly accept stateism so as not to upset anyone. I am not tolerant of our impending and increasing slavery.

Clenell, this what they refer to as a 'veiled threat'

Sounds like more of a "watch out" rather than a "threat".  If I were AMT, I guess I would be concerned that the people that they took money from might just come looking for them and do them harm.  Just saying...

I truly hope no one is physically hurt over all of this.  On the other hand, when you take large amounts of people's money and don't deliver something, I can totally understand the frustration and that they might just physically hurt you.  Again, I don't condone this, but the possibility is high in this situation.

You guys are ridiculous.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous.

Explain to me why Google maps clearly shows that the mailing address of RMA units is right behind the temple?

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/443+Old+York+Rd,+Jenkintown,+PA+19046/430+Johnson+St,+Jenkintown,+PA+19046/@40.0970725,-75.128386,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x89c6b0ea2dc084df:0x8ec8a5f182a73170!2m2!1d-75.1259738!2d40.097125!1m5!1m1!1s0x89c6b0ea37aa428b:0xf0fcfc48c946266!2m2!1d-75.1265974!2d40.0971069

On Johnson road, on the side of the even street numbers, the only building with a second floor is the Masonic temple!

As a customer,  I really want to know why AMT dealings are from the back of a Masonic temple.

This is absolutely ridiculous that you deliberately chose a location that is the back of the Masonic temple!!

Is this some kind of crude prank that you are playing?

Maybe they were in a hurry and didn't walk around it to see the front  Cheesy LOL

Actually that is the truth. And no, the fact that there is a lodge around the corner didn't really factor into the decision of taking that office. It was vacant, affordable, a shorter commute and cheaper than the last location by $260 a month. Oh, and it wasn't right next to the lawyers that were suing us. There's a Dunkin donuts on the corner guys, maybe we're in cahoots with those guys as well right. And we'll be pre-selling munchkins and the latest Koolata's soon enough.

"Look AMT's office is right next to a Catholic church!  And a park! and if you zoom in on google maps you can see a car parked out front! OH MY GOD"

Why is it a big deal if they were operating from a lodge? I don't don't care if the chips are arranged in a compass and square arrangement as long has it hases and does so safely.

You have said that they owe you over $200,000 and yet the bucks county court of common pleas only has jurisdiction up to $12K. Are you sure you are in the right court?

Just tossing this out there for general information:
http://www.edn.com/electronics-blogs/the-workbench/4421218/PCB-layout-tips-for-thermal-vias

http://circuitcalculator.com/wordpress/2006/03/12/pcb-via-calculator/

http://m.eet.com/media/1200036/XLamp_PCB_Thermal.pdf

Those are examples of standard industry practice reference items for thermal via design. Even if not explicitly specified in 'build-to-print' any CM should:
a. Knowing the thermal needs for the A1 assumed maximum thermal transfer is needed meaning; heavy-plated thermal vias at a minimum preferably filled as well, and a full complement of thermal contact bumps on the bottom of the board that are high enough to go past the gap created by green screen layer to make firm mechanical contact with the main heat sink. btw, that layer creates a 3mil air gap. If there are a few bumps but not a full complement - that gap just got increased to 8-10mil. Thermal compound is not going to make up for that...

b. Flagged the above concerns and asked their customer to verify what is needed to meet industry-standard practice for working with high-power packages. If the customer is unsure then follow Best Practice and overkill the issue.

Then there is the matter of basic Ohms law... If the value of 1 component in a divider network is changed while leaving all others the same - the result (output) from that network is vastly different. To keep the network balanced all components need to be scaled by the same percentage.. Even if a customer signs off on the ECN I still would have insisted on a signed declaration spelling out the result of said change just to CMA.

I will leave it up to the Peanut Gallery to figure how this applies to us here Tongue I will say that a power chip missing over 50% of its expected cooling path combined with getting hit (very briefly) with excessive core voltage is not long for this world... These are all items that any CM with a design team should have found in initial design review and later design change reviews and known how to address properly.

All this of course in no way gets AMT off the hook for this mess. No matter what they are the ones that have to deal with it. It is just a glimpse into what the production problems were. Their horrible lack of communication skills is a whole 'nother matter and well worth the tomes that have been written here.
