A friendly reminder for your Karma coin security:

* As much as possible keep your coins in your local encrypted wallet with at least 20 characters or more passphrase/passsentence.
* Do place you wallet.dat back up in at least 3 different locations, for example a usb, an offline PC and a paper wallet.
* In a rumor of a 51% attack, do not try to transfer from one address to another, because of a possibilty of losing your coin to the wrong chain.
* Do not install softwares that are of questionable origins and functions, they may be designed to sniff your computer data.
* Be sure to stay updated to the Karma community development especially about Karma wallet changes.
* Do not keep you coins in exchanges and online wallets longer than necessary to complete your immediate transaction, they are hackable.
* Clean your computer from malwares by a refutable antivirus software or use a sandbox/vmware.
* Do not ever panic sell. Sell when you need but do it calmly Smiley

Peace! Go Karma!

Does anybody know how many hits per day LILL is getting?  Last Kos posted was 3000 over a few days time frame.  So conservatively estimate 250 to 300 per day would be over a 100,00 per year.  I have a feeling we should be getting some advertisers soon.

More news will come out once we have our BTC pairing again.

For Lill we are now using Google Analytics.

Sounds good and thanks for the message.  Patience is not my friend right now.

I know there is a lot to come soon.

you can use virtual box too and its free...
https://www.virtualbox.org/

I do this with my litecoin and bitcoin.. they are kept in a linux virtual machine using virtualbox
all of it is encrypted and stored in a truecrypt file  (yes I know about the truecrypt  warnings but there is no proof yet that i can be cracked)
this an entirely free option and it all runs nice and securely under windows.

if my karma rises in value significantly then I would put a stash of them in a virtual machine for safe keeping.

they are a very smart team over at Etherium (some of the smartest in the entire world wide crypto industry)..  I will be participating in the Etherium ipo when they finally launch it.

definitely worth the read for anyone who is paranoid about the 51%

its interesting that bitcoin had 3 x 51% attacks in its life and its still long and strong...

This article discusses the weaknesses and costs of PoW. Until Karma is the biggest scrypt coin Karma isn't even able to be compared to the security of Bitcoin and as the article clearly outlines Bitcoin isn't as secure as people like to think.

I'd like to see such a detailed article about PoS and PoW+PoS combinations.

Chargin.
