I am using sgminer and it has a best share field, I was assuming that meant share of coins

no its the highest diff a share u calculated would be able to solve

its in no way related to ur mining rewards

how long are the coins Unconfirmed for?

am I actually mining dmd?

DMD multipool mining stats show "unconfirmed BTC" as long as they are still on wafflepool or nicehash
once the BTC arrived at DMD multipool we show "confirmed BTC"

whenever the confirmed BTC of all accounts together is above a trigger level we  can configure
the multipool will start the convertion mechanism

this means he gather all BTC and remember which multipool user contribute how much BTC
then he send the BTC to cryptsy
when they arrive he will buy DMD until all BTC us used up
then he sends the DMD to multipool
when they arrive multipool split the DMD based on the BTC each multipool user did contribute in this round
and then each user get his DMD sendet to him

by mining at DMD multipool u get ur earnings payout done with DMD but ur miner mine other coins

thats a wrong chain
compate with blockcount here http://dmdpool.digsys.bg/bc/

download wallet again to make sure u not have the leaked release canditate one

that one should be able fix blockchain by itself once it dedect a new block ( could need up to 90 min)

if that dont help download lasted blockchain upload from us

please give me feedback how u fixed it

or u still have troubles

I have the corrected windows wallet 2.0.4.0 and did a re-sync last nite from dmdchain20140923-clean.
This problem still occuring regularly ... hours between block (high diff ) Once it syncs again it is ok for several hours and then gets stuck again.  If I restart wallet with checklevel=6 it eventually continues on ...

lol I used a temporary wallet and immediately transfered to another wallet disposable paper wallet
