Am i going to be the first to assume, without clues ofc, that this is bter dumping? I dont even know if they had so many monero or if they are indeed going the mintpal way...
Very unlikely... Network hash went down by at least 2MH/s just before the dump. IMO, this is a whale miner who moved on to some other coin and dumped his bag. Current network hash : Hash Rate: 9.99 MH/sec All time low ? According to the pie chart there has been a big decrease from yesterday in the "unknown + minergate".

Nice catch! yeah, the "unknown" has always made me ponder. I would test the windows DB if it could be made so that an idiot such as myself could do so Its worth giving it a go. Are you currently running monero in windows, and if so, did you build it in windows or just download binaries?

XMR.TOPay any Bitcoin address. Anonymously, using Monero.Hey people, arnuschky, a friend, and I made this new service called XMR.TO. It allows you to pay any Bitcoin address in a fully anonymous fashion using Monero. Payment is nearly instant, so you can use it to pay bitpay bills, or any of your other bitcoin purchases. Have a look at the website, it explains all the details: https://xmr.toWe're still in beta. In case of problems or suggestions, don't hesitate to contact us or just reply in the dedicated thread. Any feedback of course welcome!
|
Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

What part of "I am an idiot" did you not understand I just downloaded the binaries and then had help from the friendly people ITT. I check the mining stats every day. I imagine "unknown" is people running their own private pool.

Any feedback of course welcome! It is very good service, as people do not need to use exchangers. Only, the price is already 10% reduced.

Hopefully one day we won't need that service anymore... but for now it plugs Monero privacy features on the one side, with all merchants in the world that accepts Bitcoin on the other side.

Thanks! Not sure what you mean by the 10% though... Price on xmr.to is not the same as at exchanges. I think that's what they mean.
