Do I have a corrupted blockchain file or something?

No, those messages can safely be ignored. Note that you can type status into monerod to verify the sync status.

All good by now, probably there are some nodes picking up 17.1.1 so all good from my side by now  Grin

I know it's been mentioned in this thread, but I just want to say... The Feather wallet is a really nice "Electrum style" wallet.

https://featherwallet.org/

-Non proprietary... creates portable wallet files that can be opened in the CLI or Official GUI.
-Very cool XMR.to integration even with built in TOR (for whatever reason :whistling:)
-Great Electrum inspired (almost stolen! Wink ) UI.
-Big executable but otherwise portable and lightweight.
-Uses new 14 word seed with embedded block height as default. Neeto. But can use 13/25 as well.

Extremely well done.  Works beautifully.  I made a real world payment for some silly thing off the net today.  I would have used XMR.to if it were legal in my jurisdiction! :more whistling:

Speaking of wallets, I use monerujo on my Android phone.  It feels good knowing that if something goes wrong with monero on my laptop (5hlt happens!), I can still make a transaction using my phone.
And does anybody have a link to linux CLI instructions for how to direct the daemon to sync the blockchain on a separate volume, like a thumb drive?

Thanks for the merit!.

And yeah.  That is really the only big thing this wallet is missing.

As to node issues I have not had them yet... hmm.  Hopefully the ones posted in here are helpful.

Does Feather support Ledger/Trezor?

No, and we have no plans to support hardware wallets in the future. An implementation would complicate the codebase significantly, and as a small team we doubt maintaining it.

If you have a Ledger or Trezor device and would like to use it, grab the official Monero GUI or CLI.

Buckle up people, XMR is leaving the launchpad, breaking resistance against FIAT and BTC.

Well, it happened.

Hashrate going over the roof, 2.3GH/s it's crazy !!

I was wondering if anyone would have said something. My theory is it's a Monero mining malware. A few days ago, another miner pointed out this account on 2Miners.com running Solo. At the time it was pointed out to me, just on 2miners, this one account had over 500Mh/s: https://solo-xmr.2miners.com/account/8Aa4txZdPkvHu1zRX8CvcP9wviQSC8ukNFrS4FHYanocY7HzzsTSpNuLbCeKwR8GxAVKqm6WrQYp4Nn1GF6T9mXwCTDGn2k - The miner shows 100Mh/s at the moment, which by itself is pretty gnarly.

This single "miner" has hit 766 blocks in the last *7* days just at 2miners! That's 1039 XMR or $121,870 at the time I'm writing this.

That is fine with me.  I don't intend to use feather for storage.  Nor do they seem to be marketing it that way.

Hello everyone!
Can you please tell me if there is a way to change transaction priority (transaction fee) in the new version of GUI Wallet 17.1.0?
If there's no way, how quickly will the transaction be proceed with a fixed fee?

Can you please tell me if there is a way to change transaction priority (transaction fee) in the new version of GUI Wallet 17.1.0?
If there's no way, how quickly will the transaction be proceed with a fixed fee?

I don't have an answer for the first question. but the TxPool has been pretty consistently held to single and double digit numbers - very high probability of being included in the next block.
