The Wallet and Proxy can be the same machine, so:

Minera (BFGminer) > Server (BFGMiner + Wallet)

yes, my diagram was more about the connection logic Smiley, anyway my BFGminer doesn`t wanna start:

Code:
./bfgminer: error while loading shared libraries: libblkmaker_jansson-0.1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

any idea ?

Anyone out there using BFGMiner with Gridseed blades?  What is the command like that should be entered in options to get the correct speed?

Thanks!!

Nope, same thing, lots of HW errors and the speed shoots up the 2.8 Mh per blade.

2.8 Mh/s is the correct speed per blade. Maybe you are not providing enough power to them?

840 is what I use but you can try adjusting it down if it is too high for your hardware.

Is there a solution already for the bumping down the poollist which ends up on the donationpool?

Because I want to donate something, but would be ok with giving 15 minutes a day but not keeping it as last pool in the list as it will get much higher than 15 minutes a day then Wink

I'll give it a try again when I get home.  I usually run at 838 and with CPUMiner I get very few errors.  BFGMiner has no issues with the pool I use where CPUMiner has to be started and stopped a few times before it starts accepting.

What do you mean? Is it randomly jumping into donation pool? Otherwise, just keep 3/4 different pools of yours and you should be fine.

I have 4 pools + Donation pool, and i have donate set to 30 mins a day, it only mines on the donate pool for 30 mins, or if my other 4 pools are down (so far i have never had more than 1 down at a time..)

If my advice has helped you out, feel free to throw some Satoshi's my way!

With CPUMiner what causes this when you try to connect to a pool?
[2014-08-26 17:34:40] stratum_recv_line failed
[2014-08-26 17:34:40] ...retry after 5 seconds
[2014-08-26 17:34:46] stratum_recv_line failed
[2014-08-26 17:34:46] ...retry after 5 seconds
[2014-08-26 17:34:51] stratum_recv_line failed

I can restart the miner a few times and usually get it to accept shares, but it's a real pain...

Hi there,

I noticed that Minera 0.3.5 has a little bug. It is what I renamed the "pool jumping" bug. I configured 4 pools and suddenly it started to "jump" on the second, the third and then back to first one, even if the first pool (with 0 priority) was alive. That's quite peculiar, isn't it?

Cheers,
Marty

michelem is going to need more info than that.. what miner? etc etc.

I have 4 pools plus the donation pool, and minera only swaps to the donation pool for the 30 mins I have set, and only switches to a lower priority pool when the first is down... hasnt ever done what you have described.

If my advice has helped you out, feel free to throw some Satoshi's my way!

Hi guys I'm useing this system on all my miners and one thing
I would like is the ability to name a pool
I run my own pool server and all the stratus  lines are the same apart from the port no.

I just think it would be nice to have it.

Thanks and keep up the very good work.

@marty1972 we need more info, what miner do you use? did you try another one? Can you see what the miner log says when this happens?

@pjcltd that should be easy

@giopi if latest bfgminer/cgminer works with Anminer S3, Minera will work too.

I have NiceHash, CM, Ghash and Multipool setup. And had the donationpool under it. I don't think it will happen often that Nicehash, CM, Ghash and multipool are down but that the ghashmultipool is up Smiley

It's been reported before and I haven't seen a "fixed" notice but I could've missed that Smiley

Have tried it a week ago again and when I got home one of my RPi's was running donationpool for more than the 15 minutes I had put in Wink

Let me understand, if you go to settings page -> donation pool -> View your past donations: can you see the right donations or they have unexpected time periods?

Another question, what miner do you use? And, can you see what the miner log says when a jumping pool happens?

Thanks!
