I know I'll be picking up some more pink myself on tuesday when my deposit comes through on coinbase  The pinkcoin community is awesome and I hope to see a lot more interactions from others involved in the crypto world. what would you reply to a darkcoin lover calling pink a "centralised mixer" ? Alot of people refer to it as a mixer. And it can be viewed that way, if you consider the fact that instead of it mixing coins like most mixers, pinks mixes the addresses. This is alot easier than explaining that it is not a mixer. As for the centralized aspect, yes it is currently centralized. But it is also the first release of version 1.0, call it Alpha if you will. We are not done with the anon, and a decentralized solution is already on our list of improvements. So in other words, it is a mixer that mixes addresses instead of coins, and will only be centralized for awhile. At the end of the day, we are still the first working coin with anon. Hope this helps, I am by no means the expert here, but this is how I have come to understand it. |
