For the moment we PINK have a website for anon transfer, that is great.
But I would like to see this implemented in the wallet, is there any timeline/schedule for that?

+1 for PINK

Nope... all that in development and no schedule whatsoever. They will be released when they will be released Smiley We all know what happened to the coins who gave schedules, promises and time frames. And looking at all the new experimental features we're brainstorming and toying with, a time frame is the most unproductive thing we can happen for this coin. Unlike other coins (and most public companies), we don't plan on "pleasing" traders or investors with a stimulant (hype) each quarter / month / week. We go down that road, then we will only have time for that. Sockpuppet management is a time consuming and often expensive working style... but it simulates activity and pleases the day traders Smiley

Hi, thanks for quick reply.
Even though you dont want to have a timeschedule for upcoming releases I think that the PinkCoin community would appreciate to know what features and functions will be implemented.

I appreciate whatever you are doing guys but want to know what features will implemented and by that said I think that more people would engage and take part of the Pink community.

regards

I understand the anxiety to know whats coming up in the future for Pinkcoin, and like anyone coughing up money in an investment, would like as much details as possible. But pretty much the major things we're working on are unique to Pink and cannot be comparable to features of other coins at the moment. We're also in the middle of testing their feasability... whether its practical, most effecient way to go about implementing them etc. Some of them may not even be remotely possible. It would be an embarrassment to say we're working on so-n-so feature, news spread like wildfire, prices shooting up, only to realize its not feasible, and prices come crashing down leaving behind a horde of bag holders... impatient for the next "feature" to be announced so they can cash out with minimal loss, etc. The announcement cycle will be a never ending process then... giving hints and stuff every few days, putting more pressure to get half baked features out there. It has the same outcome of having a timeline. Its one of the reasons we adopted a no announcements / hype policy and ninja launch them when they are ready for public. In some cases like the anon, we needed a larger base of users to test it out and provide feedback so we could fix the bugs before rolling out the final version and locking it.

Rest assured, now that its behind us, we're moving on to tinkering with other features that really matter. I'm not going to lie... its going to be a while. Just don't keep refreshing every 10 minutes like McHammer to see if the next feature is announced  Cheesy

+1. Keep up the good work.

They will coexist. Just transfer coins from your desktop wallet to the card and vise versa. Load up vefore you go out shopping. Smiley

that is a very incorrect assumption. it is simple economics:

when there is a limited supply with a high demand the price goes up because the asset is scarce and people are willing to pay a premium amount to attain it.

conversely;

when there is a large supply with a lowered demand the price goes down because there is a saturation of the asset on the market, everyone has it, people need $ so they will sell it for less than its perceived worth to ensure they can sell it.

the latter example is what you are seeing heppening right now, there are a large supply of mtgox and silkroad coins that are on the move in the markets as of yesterday and today (a FLOOD of increased supply) which no longer makes that asset scarce which in turn satisfies the limited demand that there was and now there is more supply then demand at the current price that the price is forced to go down.

you're welcome for the economics 101 lesson Wink

lol nothing new to me
u say price goes down because of all these silkroad bitcoins ?
sure
but when bitcoin price falls and pink marketcap stays the same , pink should be nominated higher in btc
that is what i meant
pinkcoins price should rise when btc falls
pinkcoinprice falls when btc rises (in btc ... where everbody is looking at)
i listened to a lot of austrian economics "lessons"...maybe im still wrong, that would be sad

What have we got planned for the future of Pink?

One thing that we, as a community should address is getting us some real world adoption.

Like Cayce has said it isnt the developers coin. But it looks as though the only people doing anything are the developers. I think we as a community can step it up! We should help the developers get this coin into the real world.

So a suggestion to anyone invested into this coin, we should ask ourselves if we can help in anyway, get this coin more public, more recognised and with real world usage!

Together the PinkArmy will RISE!

Thanks Pinkcoiners. I believe in this!

So awesome another person making their first post at bitcoinforum in the pinkcoin thread to me that means people who normally would not post here are compelled and believe in this. One for the good guys. A lot of info is on twitter triangle you should get on there. The developers play things pretty close to the chest as far as future developments in the works. They are active on here twitter and reddit and probably are open to any suggestions for features or promotions. Good job #thinkpink

I am wrapping up a free coin giveaway thread here http://altcoingiveaways.com/index.php/topic,1589.0.html that did a decent job collecting MintPal votes, caught eyes and distributed Zimstake to new wallets.  Give me a few days to regroup after closing out thread for Zimstake (it ran 30+ days) and I volunteer to do something similar for Pink.

Absolutely agreed, interesting how PINK is attracting people so far staying in the shadows and I bet there is a lot more watching. Aren't you?Wink Something cool is going on here, though pretty sneaky so far. One has to be very cautious these days, so not surprising. Hope the pink vibes will last and the DEVs can handle the dirt of the altcoin environment. Keep up the good work and stay pink! If you don't start fooling people, this might grow big, although it doesn't have to be quick. Truth this shouldn't be just developers, but whole community. Of course we all don't have the right skills in the relevant fields, but hay, even if you are "just" a trader, there is an important role for you: Hold your bag! Till the larger adoption it is. And think pink.Wink Seriously important - too much hatred around.

When the price of bitcoins go down, it essentially means people are cashing out their BTC at whatever prices they get before it gets even lower. Now most alt coins are purchased with BTC... so cashing out the BTC requires one to sell their alts at whatever price they get. This is the reason why the prices of ALL alts goes down when Bitcoin prices go down. They are all tied to bitcoin, and ultimately fiat. Until Crypto is evolved to a stage where fiat is no longer in the picture, these kind of coordinated swings and fluctuations are to be expected.
