press "m" key while mining, select card (0,1..etc) and use "+" and "-" to change -h "on the fly" - thats the fastest way to determine what -h value is best for individual cases, because you can see it reflecting on your mining speed in real time. cheers

Hi! How can I use this miner to mine on a pool which requires user id and pass to connect? When i set "-u user.id -p pass" the miner shows error invalid address. Thanks for the great miner and keep up the good work!
Can you share details on which pool you are mining ? It would make it easire to assist that way. Or you could switch to more "simple" pool like moneropool.com and use -u yourXMRwallet -p x Im having the same issue its krb.suprnova.cc Its standard the standard cryptonote algo but cant get it to mine this specific currency either by using the wallet address and a 'simpler' pool, or by username password at suprnova. Any help would be appreciated. i registered there and tried it out. it seams that the miner rejects anything that isnt "valid" address of supported coins. The only logical thing would be to register account using supported coin address as a name, but they dont allow such long usernames on your pool.. I'll try to find a workaround for this , but the best option would be to ask op to add support for it. Some1 correct me if im wrong. cheers I would like a flag to by-pass the address check. for instance if you want to mine thru mining rig rentals, user has to be the rig name. here is the result of an MRR call: 07:19:01:709 d10 07:19:01:709 d10 ÉÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ» 07:19:01:709 d10 º Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.3 Beta º 07:19:01:709 d10 ÈÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍͼ 07:19:01:909 d10 Wrong wallet address jimbit.32939 - XMR/QCN/BCN/FCN/Aeon/Duck/Dash/OEC/MCN/ORION addresses are supported only. 07:19:01:909 d10 Pool us-east01.miningrigrentals.com removed from the list 07:19:01:909 d10 Wrong wallet address jimbit.32939 - XMR/QCN/BCN/FCN/Aeon/Duck/Dash/OEC/MCN/ORION addresses are supported only. 07:19:01:909 d10 Pool monerohash.com removed from the list 07:19:01:909 d10 No pools specified! Specify at least one pool in "pools.txt" file or in "-o" parameter.
claymore please release a version that will bypass the address check. jimbit

Hello, Will there be a solo version of mining CryptoNote GPU Miner? I know that it works with a pool-software. I would like e.g. node-crypto note-pool install, but this is too complicated.

Hey Claymore, can you integrate usernames instead of only allowing -u WALLET ? I've got a pool up: https://xmr.suprnova.cc and people would like to mine with your miner, but it seems it doesn't support -u suprnova.1 for example

General question about pool and hash rates.
How come i see on the pool's website my hash rate between 2 to 3kh/sec when i know that i generate at least 3.5 kh/s ( 5 x RX 480 (~650 h/s each + ~230 for my i7 cpu + ~100 for an other cpu )
is it because the pool is not stable/efficient or is it lag/packet loss causing this discrepancy?

i think it is because they can only estimate your hashrate by the success shares.

i think it is because they can only estimate your hashrate by the success shares. I am wondering, do you think I would i get different result using a different pool? or it wouldn't matter, i would get the same result

What do you do if it uses 100% CPU? Is there a way to change that? I have it on low priority in Task Manager. I have 6 megs of Ram and a ACPI x64-based PC, AMD radeon 6410.

Is it typical for all RX 400 series cards to mine XMR with a maximum hash rate of ~550 h/s stock like with my 470 & 480 cards and the same experiences of someone with similar results on the previous page? When is it planned for this miner to take advantage of these new RADEON GPUs and Catalyst? At least this and ccminer work with the new GPUs; I was using Minergate, but it's GPU miner crashes on RX 400s and GTX 1000s. It's awesome that Claymore is coding a Linux version as I'm building a miner/server with 8 GPUs, 2 CPUs (20 core, 40 hyperthread, E5-2630 v4) and I'll be using both of Claymore's CPU & GPU miners.

hello, I want to know what would be the commands to mine aeon GPU, I tried to make a bat, I'm atualmente minergate: NsGpuCNMiner, or stratum + tcp: //aeon.pool.minergate.com: 45690 my email -u -p x
but it does not work presents claymore error as a result null = Invalid shares:415
I would also like to know the steps for mining etherum dual-xmr with claymore 9.6 gpu rx 480 for 8gb

With an RX 480 Sapphire Nitro+ OC 8gb stock-settings mining XMR I get 645 h/s; I took recommendations from the Eth. board and overclocked memory by 200, reduced Voltage by 48 which resulted in a stable 724 h/s, 'good enough. Well, perhaps the newest GPUs (Pascal GTX 1000s and Polaris RX 400s) and their drivers are in line for mining software optimization by some crafty programmer.
