Having issues on 470/480s, 4GB and 8GB, Win7 and Win10.  Most are 1500 or 1625 (4GB) or 1750 (8GB) bios mod, all stock 1750 or 2000MHz memory.  Crash or system reset after a few mins, or up to a day or 2. -li option doesn't seem to help much, nor does changing clocks.  All systems are 100% rock solid on CZM 9.2, and CDM 7.4, back to eth for now until I can figure this out.  Does miner need updated for Polaris, or any other things I can do?

Try Crimson 16.11.4, that worked for me.

However, I have switch to sgminer-gm for 480 rigs for now, until Claymore get his new version out soon.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

My Rig with 4x RX460 runs since one week without any problems on Crimson 16.12.2. Fan run with 30% and the hole system need just 220W with 1,4 kh/h on xmr.

I have a bunch of the 470s running on this and stable, I use the -h 960 instead of letting the miner auto choose.

Thank you very much everyone for letting me know on how to further optimize my config. I started using Watttool and upped the 7950 Mem to 1500MHZ. But its stuck at 450 H/s, but I aint complaining. But the 480's are a whole different story. And any further attempts at improvements only results in LowDifficultySHare and stale shares and cannot download blob and random errors. So I am leaving them at 730 h/S for now. If I invest anymore time in this, I am afraid that even the 730 I get, may be lost. Well the stability atleast.

I will just wait for claymore to update his miner and see how it goes from there.

Thanks once again!

I don't know what did you try but try to copy 1750 strap to 2000, up TDP to 100.
Then try 1200/2200 .
Tell us how much you get.

Meantime Claymore's v9.6    6x sapphire 480 nitro+ 4GB  default clocks  mining  without any problem for last 26h with  constant speed 4480 H/s

What driver version do you use for your Rx 480 ?

Thanks.

16.10.2 use Display Driver Uninstaller first in safe mode after that install 16.10.2

Why I'm getting only 550 H/s (mining XMR) on RX 480?
I tried every driver, but no luck :\
Overclock .. I use 1250core and 2100 memory. Goes beyond 720h/s

If I overclock i get the same or worse hash rate :\
I have 1266 MHz core and 1750 MHz. I tried to OC only core, only memory, and core & memory without any change.

My video card is: XFX RX 480 RS 4GB
