Yes, that is is because before we were planning to finish redemption months earlier. Now that the redemption was delayed by several months, we will just end it permanently on 2/26 for NXT asset NEMstake.

Can somebody confirm that these steps are correct?

Some people have had a hard time getting NEM going on a Mac, but I can confirm it is possible and this is how I did it. 

If you don't want to use webstart or if webstart isn't working for you, please try the stand alone version. 

It is actually pretty easy once you know how to do it, but like anything if you don't know, it is really hard.  hahaha


Step 1: Please make sure you have the latest version of Java.

Step 2: Download the stand alone version of NEM from here http://bob.nem.ninja (get the latest version) (the file you want is probably the largest file)

Step 3: unpack the file to the desktop and if done correctly, you should see a folder called “package” on the desktop. (I used "Archive Utility" to unzip these)

Step 4: open terminal and type: cd Desktop/
Step 5: next in terminal type: cd package
Step 6: next in terminal type:  ./nix.runNis.sh
If things go correctly, you will see terminal start to get really active.

Step 7: Open up a different and new terminal window and type:  cd Desktop/
(To open up a new terminal window two finger click on terminal and choose "new window". Do not close the old window.)
Step 8: next in terminal type: cd package
Step 9: next in terminal type: ./nix.runNcc.sh
If it works, terminal will be very active

Step 10: go to http://localhost:8989/ncc/web/index.html in Safari.
You should see the NEM screen.  You can now create a wallet.  You will have to download the whole blockchain which takes a while.  Post your address and somebody will send you coins.

6 nodes are stuck or running 0.5.4  (0.5.6 should be coming soon)

From the 25 left, almost half of the nodes are dev's nodes.

Launch won't make any sense, as any exchange should not list us with such a small network...

We actually have a completely refurbished website almost ready. I don't know the exact status but I'm pretty sure it'll be finished and online soon.

Where is my node 'andme'? Port 7890 opened, it works 24/7, version 0.5.5.
Nembex doesn't show all nodes.

The NIS logs show: "andme <TDIIASAV2VS5GYSJI5C5JE4ZZZGWVPHLERUKHAGF> (88.86.xxx.yyy)", so you are indeed in the list but with name TDIIASAV2V.
gimre will try to fix the name issues of the node list today
