sorry guys, but we live in extreme period of social cynism, no one really cares for meaning, this is postmodern age, meaningless is more interesting. Im trying to say that logo should reflect todays trend in demand, not romantic ideals. Sadly, those are out of fashion.
Meaningless is more interesting ? Are you listening to yourself ? That is used in movies and novels. Persons, events etc. are presented without clear meanings. Then they create an interesting scheme to the readers' mind, and they want to read or see more. Meaningless, or meaningless at that moment, can create more pictures to the mind.

So soon? When one stake is worth 100000 dollars...maybe then Dot.com bubble was $7 trillion and it created many new billionaires like Mark Cuban, Kevin O'learhy, et al, overnight. There's $2 trillion investment gold. $97 trillion investments worldwide. $400 trillion derivatives. Cryptos can easily be $1 trillion within 5 to 10 years. I wouldn't sell a stake for less than 10,000,000.

Bitcoin has a smaller capitalization than drop box but you don't see governments cracking down hard on drop box. I think you don't comprehend how much investment money is in the world (1 trillion is nothing)

Added to that.....the coming inevitable flight out of the dollar.....!!!! Well that has already happened to an extent. The aged middle class keeps their savings in real estate and stock funds. If the dollar collapsed nothing would change for those with assets. Look at real estate prices in China and Russia which compares or exceeds that of USA. Dollar collapse would bring a systemic decline in living standards for those without assets. Also would affect government finances

The details are still being finalised, but it will involve sending a private message on the Bitcointalk Forum account you claimed your stake with; so don't forget the password! The final instructions on how to claim your NEM will be made obvious on all forms of social media at least 2 weeks before launch.

The new LOGO is kinda stylish, but I doubt that it will cause some risks in the Christian world In that page is a 4 x 4 picture, whose smaller pictures contain "nemish logos", numbers 2, 9 , 11, 12, 15. I understood that NEM LOGO's history is in Asian culture. That may be free from "666", but the Western World is not. Will the devs take the risk with that LOGO Sorry but i find this rather pathetic. If anyone is prepared to go to such lengths to see something that isn't there, then thats their choice (religion is, after all, notorious for this). Doesn't mean the development team should pamper to it (and therefore justify/encourage the behavior) ultimately, people, for whatever reason, are always going to be upset. It's the way it goes. Devs need to decide who has legitimate criticisms and act accordingly. This is an example whereby it isn't legit. By pussyfooting around such silly things, they're only going to waste their time and damage the project, and it's reputation (as sane individuals will be scared off - who would participate if devs havn't got their priorities straight?) it's like you said, when we think logically. Haters will not think so. They will seek the weak points of NEM and this 666 may be that. NEM should tempt masses of people. The masses won't act with sense, they act with fear and hope and greed. There' lies the numbers and their magic. ... for example try market NEM 4.0 to China The question is not about dev's sense, not at all, this has nothing to do with sense, not even the sense's control. The complex logos may cause risks. Maybe that is the reason why MasterCard and Visa have so simple and dull logos. A Chinese guy worked with me on the logo design and write-up. There are similar symbols in India, China, and Korea, etc, so I don't think it is a problem. There are no numbers in the logo and we are not against any religion, so don't worry so much https://trello-attachments.s3.amazonaws.com/52fad1d4f9dae58171699f3f/53aa39ece02af77946c7ed33/500x211/f8a9698b379596fee2e77358f924e45f/logoV7_text_rounded.pngEDIT: updated with latest draft Fuck Japan! It`s a evil logo in India.
