Is it possible to add xmr-stak to also support CPU under managed software->compatible software? Now only AMD/Nvidia is accepted. The new xmr-stak has replaced the xmr-stak-cpu, and xmr-stak works great on cpu only (just remove the GPU-dlls). I guess API is the same, so it just to enable it? On latest xeon scalable CPU, it's around 20% faster on cryptonight than any other miner I have tried.
Also could it be an idea to have different switching interval for the different pools? Since MPH use PPLNS, a longer switch time could maybe be more profitable. On Zpool, faster switching could maybe be most profitable? Or maybe I'm totally wrong...
Thanks

Its official, this app is shit. I've switched the statistics around endlessly to get the "perfect" daily estimate ratio, and it doesnt even get CLOSE to the so said daily estimates I'm suppose to make. Whoever made up these stats when it came to profit switching need to get shot in the face. As per example Skein is suppose to give me $10 for 1080ti on Zpool.. Guess what, IT DOESNT EVEN COME CLOSE!!!
Made less than a dollar in 5 hours, WTF?!?!? What a hunk of shit. Even when mining with coin Specified it still mines whatever the fuck it wants so why even have the option?!

This is not fair if there's a misconfiguration issue on your end. I do not own a 1080Ti and can't say for the hashrate, but you are ranting without giving much information on your end, no need for rude language, AM does not mine for you and it does not lie to you if it's been fed with misinformation in the first place. According to early test of skein hashrate with 1080Ti, it does approx 600MH/s without oc, what is your hashrate and what is pool's reported hashrate? if you plug in into say...WhatToMine, 600 MH/s gives you shy of $7 if you are mining DGB-Skein, and $2.7 per day for XMY-Skein...your 1 dollar in 5 hours seemed though pretty unimpressive for a top of range $1k card but isn't far off the estimates. not to mention a double hit with DGB-BTC pair value drop and BTC-USD value drop....what would you expect? FYI...my 1060s does more than $7 (correction, forgot not using USD on my AM), $6+ each a day and actual reported earning isn't far off...it's not AM's fault if something isn't optimized on your end Also...why would you be mining skein when supposedly Equihash/Neoscrypt has much higher reported revenue? seems more like wrong recorded hashrate in your profit profile, did you benchmark properly?

Hi guys, Another new Awesome Miner user here, first of all, thanks Patrike for your software! Got my rig up and running, no problem there, just a question about the ‘balance’ tab, i cant find any info or example to fill in. I understand that i need to insert a wallet address (duh) but what is used as ‘label’? My Litecoin address works good, but not my Ethereum and Bitcoin, it shows update failed. Any help is much appreciated, Regards from The Netherlands Welcome and thanks for your nice feedback. Label is just a description (maybe I should change name of it) that can be anything. It's useful if you have several addresses and want to remember what they are used for. Are you using the default Block Explorer API's that are pre-filled in? That should work for Bitcoin and Ethereum unless your Awesome Miner version is too old. If you have any specific address work, you could send it to me via mail or PM and I can take a look. Thanks! For general information about the balance feature: http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/coinbalance.aspx@Patrike: using latest 4.3.2, also using default API`s...still see update failed on both Zclassic and Ethereum, used etherscan.io to get an api but this fails also, did just the same as on Litecoin and that one works like a charm.

Not sure what you mean but there is no reason to "switch statistics around". AM is a powerful tool but like all good tools you do actually need to understand how to use it properly. I would suggest turning off all the profit switching stuff until you figure out how to mine one coin successfully first.

I seem to be having the same issue as the previous poster but with only one card. When I go to sleep and wake up the next morning, AM has stopped. After two days of this I realized I could check the log file.

Any ideas? I will have to just mine one coin overnight without AM looks like.

I am having the same issue. I had to make a spreadsheet to add up all the columns in miningpoolhub. Awesome miner shows $6-8.50 as daily earnings but it is closer to around $1.50 - $4.50 depending on what stats you go with (they are constantly jumping back and forth).
The MiningPoolHub interface is very poor and hard to see what you are actually earning. I am not sure why they can't show more consistent stats instead of coins going away and coming back, along with amounts going back and forth as well. They should add something to convert to USD and then show a grand total. Right now I think people are making much less than they think they are.

What is your profit switching setting, statistics to 24 hours? Long switch intervals? Switching threshold? MPH don't like pool hopping from what I've read, you'd forfeit a good portion of your mining shares if you make frequent hops. For something to ease your spreadsheet work and convert to USD and showing grand total, somebody posted in this thread or some other thread I don't remember, but feel free to try...miningpoolhubstats.com...since you are talking about using MPH

I've been using aswesome miner for some time now, updated to the latest one, maybe I forgot to do something, but I have been trying to not use nicehash as one of the pools to go to. But every time the miner loads up its trying to connect to nicehash, but can't, if I have the selection for nicehash pool it starts up fine and mines on nicehash. I don't want to use nicehash as one of my profit switching pools. Ah nm, I was forgetting something have to uncheck nicehash pool from in the profit switching menu of options! Sorry brain fart!

I am using the default settings... Switching interval is 30 minutes... Threshold is unchecked. However an update: Suddenly my auto-exchange coin target (ethereum) balance jumped up and now my total looks more correct for the 24 hour period ($~7.00). They must be using some kind of server farm (NoSQL DB setup perhaps) where depending on which server you are hitting at the time, you see different totals. Then at some point they must consolidate. Really wish they would improve the UI however.

I think hsrminer don't have an api yet (it's planned but palginpav said he's trying to port algos first I believe), you should be able to set it up as generic miner, just that it won't feed any info back with no api so manual bench is needed.

Glad you are seeing consistent stats now

I've been setting up rigs for people and taking a small cut for management. Say I want to collect this by turning the rigs over to my wallet one day a week. Is there any way to automate this - for example every sunday it mines to my wallet on zpool, every other day it mines whatever is most profitable to his wallet(s)?

The program has nothing to do with estimates. The pools are providing the estimates for each algo. If it is off it is due to the incorrect hash rate or profit estimate the pool is providing. This program is by far the best thing to manage even a single miner.

The default settings pull the information from WhatToMine.com (which I guess could be an aggregate of various pools). Also I think it simply averages it across the scripting language chosen as it doesn't know what coin is being mined (unless you are using a non switching miner or have selected the define coin option).

I believe the Online Services provide the profit calculations numbers for AM for their own pools API and any other pools you defined came from WhatToMine/Coinwarz
