V2.0.0.18 is working brilliantly after 16 hours of constant use!

I've been using advanced ping pong since 2.0.0.18 and the main issues I find are:

1) When selling, allow the sale of the remaining quantity if there is not enough coins to fill the sell block. Without this fix, I end up bagholding a part filled order for each coin which I need to manually sell.
2) When the internet connection drops (even for just a few seconds), I have to set the trader settings from new as connection is aborted. I tried just pressing "Start" but I am told there is not enough QTL.

These are the biggest issues right now!

I'm looking forward to this one, Markus said he's implementing this soon.

cool, seems like stop-limit altcoin works now for me with the higher cycle times, thanks for the tip colinfx!

unfortunately not for a long time, the trader stops working with the error "your quatloo-balance is too low" ;-(
using 2.0.1.8 @ bittrex with more than 3000QTL.

@Markus
is there a chance to implement a cycle to check the QTL balance every 30minutes or so? This way the trader would stop working (for whatever reason) but after these 30min it would check again and begin working again.

EDIT: just seen colinfx' post: that is very likely my problem, my internet connection drops sometimes a day...maybe because of this the error "not enough QTL balance" appears

Dear Lord, please grant me the ability...

I suspect your internet connection is dropping intermittently. A disconnect at the time of your cycle disables the app from working and the QTL balance is not rechecked, you have to restart the app. This fix is in progress Smiley

This was originally an implementation to avoid certain types of hacks/cracks that could bypass the QTL holding requirements.  I may do it a different way to avoid the app purposefully breaking itself.

A few of the fixes talked about here are going to be implemented.  It will be a couple of days as I will not release another build until big additions are complete.  next version is 2.0.2.0

Well, this is a bit of a blow for users using API trade bots on Bittrex. (although not massive)
https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202673194-The-taming-of-the-Bots-Part-II

Order Entry

- Number open orders per market will be limited to 10.
- Only 100 orders may be placed in a one hour period on a given market.
(These caps apply both to UI and API trades)

That's actually a good thing. Too many fools were running their bots on 5 and 10 second intervals. At least now everyone has a chance to get in the action a little easier.

I'm up to 30+ seconds now the macro I posted earlier is easily edited though  Smiley

Ah ok i see your point, that makes sense! And thank you for working on a fix for that, hopefully this could work without breaking your security rules. Otherwise I need to start thinking connecting a SIM card to my computer, load it up with some data-volume, installing a directional antenna et voilà, having a non-stop internet connection :-D

One suggestion, save settings or setup coin profiles...timings, check boxes. Each time the program closes it seems to only remember the market. A coin profile would be pretty radical...since some coins we trade in the tens or hundreds or thousands. So having your place to ask/min and place to bid/min and timing for API calls would be a really cool feature and simple to code.

This combined with my earlier suggestions would be very powerful:

█ Multiple Market Tabs per Exchange so that we don't have to run multiple copies of the app. Bittrex allows 60 API requests per minute as well as multiple bots running on multiple markets for a single IP address/account, so this is not a problem. 6-10 market tabs per exchange would be sufficient (e.g. 6-10 bots running 2 orders each spread across a second range, that is what I achieve with macros and a dozen copies of the app running).

█ Ability to set bids at a percentage lower than the top bid instead of a satoshi count lower. Also for that bid to automatically update to always reflect that % lower than current top bid. At the moment the user has to keep manually recalculating what e.g 2% lower is in satoshis for each coin that they automatically trade.

Bittrex is going to start limiting trades though.

Even with those you will still be able to use at least 6 bots on 6 different markets at the same time.

How is the updates going on the trader? I see some big potential in growth, not only on the coin side, but the trading software too. A few friends and I have begun testing this software, its beyond what we expected. However, I hope the developer can 'develop and update the coin, develop and update the trader, bring in awareness through channels of advertisements, and continue to answer questions/community development.'   I am not hearing any feedback from the developer about awareness.

Having a great technology is one thing, growing the awareness of the technology is another.

The more user downloads = the higher the demand for QTL on the market

How do you plan to expand the growth and awareness of the software dev?
How many user downloads (Estimated) has trader software produced thus far?
