Can't believe to see anonibet going so low. On the other hand I expect to see sportsbet and cloudbet going up in rankings; Is the table or excel sheet listed in your last post used to determine the ratings of those sporstbooks ? If so, I don't think having a casino should affect or improve any casinos rating in general as a casino is a completely different venture than sportsbetting, and I don't see it affecting a sportbooks ranking.
Casinos and poker rooms don't affect sports book ratings. It's only posted there to make those that may be interested aware that a casino or poker room exists. Anonibet went through a bad stretch were they were taking up to a week for withdrawals. If they stay clean for another month the rating will rise. Cloudbet is another one that could be upgraded but they still have too many problems on the weekends for an upgrade at this time. It will take sportsbet some time before an upgrade is warranted since they haven't been open long. Alright, yeah a good think to see in a comparison I suppose. Anonibet used to be huge a few years back, haven't been to the place recently. As for Cloudbet, while it could rise, its true they have been having a lot of problems lately. I have had withdrawal issues too, where it never got processed until I contacted support. They have a good sportsbook, just that the support and the deposit-withdrawal system is lacking.

Right now I'm very happy with directbet.eu. I saw that quote with those problems and I don't really know what to think, since everything is going well for me, so I will continue to bet with them. I like the support, odds are decent, payments are fast, and I like their promotions, like the regular Tipster Championship they are holding. I also made a few bets on their casino, with bonuses from that competition, and everything wen't well. So for me they have a really good business overall and I rate them A.

We've yet to see someone posting complaints that doesn't have legitimate looking double spend claims against them. $10,000+ payment from them today, in my pocket a few minutes after the final whistle blew - https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=0x6dfc69d0f54c490ee1d55277a1896f31f3d5922d

I'm not going to pay too much notice to someone crying they got scammed out of 100 or so Ether when they're paying me out 10 times that. Why didn't they just scam me?
Whats the DirectBet response to this scam accusation?

All other books will work with me and show proof of problems. DirectBet will not show anything. They state that their decision is final.

DirectBet confiscated money from 3 different players claiming double spend and they have no proof. One player was paid a week or so later. Two haven't been paid.
DirectBet refused to pay out on a bet that they confirmed. They haven't paid 3 players and their model is open to more problems. The amount of players paid doesn't make up for those not paid.
1. The have the largest hold (margins) of all books. 2. They haven't paid 3 players. 3. They refuse to answer questions. 4. It's not if, it's when will DirectBet take money again from a player that's unjustified. They have flaws that need to be fixed.
The 4 points above are huge negatives when rating DirectBet.

seriously? I can see first hand they process 5 figure payments near instantly. I can see some single random guy saying they've not paid him 100 Ether. There is a complete lack of (legit) scam complaints surrounding DirectBet, and my own experiences show them to be honest. So why wouldn't I continue to bet there? I'm happy to listen if anyone points me to some credible evidence I shouldn't play there. Right now I can't see that (outside of a couple of likely double spenders)

The onus isn't on the players in this thread to prove anything. The books should be answering to us and DirectBet refuses to do that.

Sure it was from me but it was in their hands - if they wanted to they could have kept the full lot. They didn't, which makes me think anyone crying about a small wager being stolen from them... they're not telling us the full story. The onus isn't on the players in this thread to prove anything. The books should be answering to us and DirectBet refuses to do that.
You're a random 3rd party, Direct Bet are a major BTC bookmaker. They don't owe you an explanation at all. I'd like to see one but its pretty obvious why we often won't - showing proof of how they caught the scam, just helps them try a better attempt at it next time and/or encourages someone else to have a go. Either way, players can pay their money and take their choice. You can chalk this one up as another successful large payout from Direct Bet in the last 5 mins - https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=0x0bd538b0f6fe553b839dc97b9501e4ac141ca0ad

(in other words, anyone they have denied payment likely doesn't deserve to be paid) I don't think they intend to scam anyone. HOWEVER, They are operating an exploitable site and playing the role of judge jury and executioner. You may not have been scammed yet, you may not be scammed tomorrow. But eventually, they will either go broke from being scammed or confiscate the funds of an innocent player. It's inevitable A flawed system run by people that reserve the right to only pay who they want will only end badly. Edit: Peeps, I still think you're a scumbag for keeping Betcoin ranked so high because only poker and casino players have been fucked by them. "I don't understand" is bullshit. Grow a pair.

You're a random 3rd party, Direct Bet are a major BTC bookmaker. They don't owe you an explanation at all. DirectBet is a very small book with almost all of their customers on bitcointalk. Nitrogen and Betcoinsports are much bigger and are well known outside of bitcointalk. If all other books are going to work with players in this thread and DirectBet isn't going to answer to anyone, then the books that are willing to work with players will be rated higher.

Very few outside of bitcointalk are going have DirectBet as there go to book. DirectBet's odds aren't competitive. Sophisticated players don't play at "best available odds".
Many times DirectBet only offers bets on one side. If you play best available you may be getting +300 when you should be getting +800 since DirectBet's odds are the same as an exchange that they clone adding more take.

You lose credibility when you post nonsense like this. A couple of random games from today: Direct Bet: spurs - 4.2 - $100 pays out $420 atletico - 1.8 pays out $180 Paddy Power: spurs - 16/5 - pays out $420 atletico - 5/6 - pays out $183 Direct Bet: Bremen - 2.22 - $100 pays out $222 Bets - 2.8 - $100 pays out $280 Paddy Power: Bremen - 13/10 - $100 pays out $230 Betis - 13/8 - $262 Direct Bet are looking competitive for me here, no?

A flawed system run by people that reserve the right to only pay who they want will only end badly.
Every anonymous online bookie is the exact same - they reserve the right to only pay if they feel like it (regardless of past history, or what their T&C say). re the point of it being inevitable something goes wrong, that is massively offset by not actually having to leave my money on account there. They can't lose customer held balances, since there aren't any. Their system might be flawed but its only me that controls my ETH so there is never going to be a suspicion of double spends on my transactions. That guy going on about exchanging 5 figures of cash at a party, the sender being unavailable to answer questions, then pretending he was in a different country etc etc, was absolute horse shit. The only crazy thing there was Direct Bet actually refunded him, I'd have kept it his cash to offset the next successful double spend (either by him or anyone else). Again if you're not going to try and defraud them I don't see any issues with playing there. They are honest, and the claims their odds aren't competitive is simply not true as far as I am concerned (soccer bettor)

I have also time and time again mentioned about never having a problem with Directbet. But I agree about the double spend issue and they should fix it. However I also think there are lots of other casinos with similar complains including betcoin, which have not been fixed, and them not getting affected on the rating just isn't good in that case.

Serious question here - why does it matter to me/you if they fix it or not? They're not holding our funds so they can't lose our money. Worst case they get took on one or two individual bets and they must be more than able to eat the loss on that at this point - they're not going to vanish because someone successfully double spent 10 btc there. if a completely anonymous bookmaker wants to scam someone because it makes financial sense, they don't need to hide behind double spend. they'll just take your money and there is zero you can do about it.
