Love that rig! I might finally be able convince the wife to lend me her laundry basket permanently to set up my first rig Cheesy

Update 2: Have over 20MH now which was my goal from the start, once reached its not enough and now feels like I have 1 card running.

I've moved most of the PC's into custom rack and now sitting a on a shelf and left the other 3 Rigs inside the HAF X-B case as pictures below.

35 GPU cards in total, 1 x 290x, 6 x 280x , 27 x 7950 and 1 x 7970

Still have 4 cards in RMA, which will bring it to 39...

That's amazing great work, I bet you already got a ROI. I really want to upgrade but I need to get atleast half of my investment in crypto back before I can justify spending more $.

Nice to see some 5850's still running, Ive got 7 that have been mining 24/7 since July 2012. (Bitcoin and then switched to Litecoin when ASICs came out)

I'm curious to see some pictures of those mining rigs.  Share your pictures of your rig and then details of build and mhash/sec.  Let's get a frame of reference up here with some visuals.

I'm a gamer so this is an older gaming rig (2+ years old now)

A single 4890 that produces 100 mhash.  Bitcoin mining will help me justify putting together a tri or quad video card setup relatively soon.

Hey guys, looking good!  Cool

Here's my modest machine, I use it for work and gaming as well as mining. My office is right next to the living room, and obnoxious whirring fans got the big thumbs-down from the wife. So I watercooled it.

Cards are 2x7990s, radiators are 1x120, 1x240 and 1x140. Case is a Lian Li midtower. The radiator fan shroud looks nice, but it does restrict the fans a bit. The mobo is an older model, and I had big stability issues getting it to run with 4 GPUs. I threw an EVGA power boost in the 1xPCIE slot and bingo, works perfectly. Individual GPUs are undervolted to 1.150, 1.145, 1.160 and 1.110v respectively. These are the lowest stable values I have found and it saves a few hundred watts at the wall compared to stock 1.2v.

Speaking of power, here we are pulling 1300w...

You'll notice my PSU is a Corsair HX1000. Funny thing about this power supply, it's actually a 1500w unit in disguise, but Corsair couldn't label it as such or else they'd lose the efficiency rating. I grabbed it for $70 from another forum member last year and have had no stability problems pulling 700w+ from each rail. The fan doesn't even spin up all the way pulling 1300w. I had it at 1450w for awhile before I undervolted the cards. The thing is a beast.

And the results are about 3.1Mh give or take, each core running @ 1100/1500. GPU0 runs the desktop, so it hashes a bit lower when the computer is in use. To game, I simply shut off one (or two). Interesting story about the VRM temps, when using the stock thermal pads on the EK waterblocks they were shooting up to 80 degrees or more. I replaced them with Fujipoly thermal pads and they literally dropped 20 degrees. I totally recommend them.

Happy (and safe) mining everyone!

Thought i would share 2 of the rigs i have built. we plan on building about 20 total before the end of the month. Each rig has  4x Gigabyte R9 270's  1000w gold psu (only draws about 850-900) using cgremote (highly recommend!) hottest gpu temp runs at only 65 degrees so they stay very cool

Time to show off my "work-in-progress" rig. (17 MH/s at the moment)
====================================
That 5970 will be replace with a better card, hint the card will look like the one behind it.

Also the space is doing well for the winter but it will change quite a bit during the spring and summer.
