Yup it keeps them cool Very well. They don't get Hot At all. Also with this I can always make the tower bigger for more USB hubs and more USB ASICs. The Reason why I am started with Block Eruptor Asic Miners is they are Cheap to get for now to get because I can't afford to much with cash, For most of the mining that I have done before I was stuck with CPU Mining and 1 GPU on my Gaming Rig.
So can you feel the airflow if you put your hand on the exit? Yup. Ok, but hold on, now I saw the fan; I thought it was passive. What happens if you turn off the fan? *infernal tower* I don't want to find out with it overheating and melting plastic.

Here is my "ghetto" mining setup. 4,8 MHz (scrypt) There is one more 1000W PSU outside the pic and a air-condition blowing straight on all cards.

I have 10 Miners and place them into 3 racks. The terraminer have online about 1,4TH/s and not 2! They also producing about 1850 Watt and not 1650 Watt!
I pay about 5000€ / Month for the 3 Racks.
USD 1,038/kW?? Why only 3 per rack and not 10?

USD 1,038/kW?? Why only 3 per rack and not 10? I guess he doesn't want to try to get 18.5KW heat out of the rack. Not to mention it would consume almost 80 amps @ 230/240 volts. Most racks do not have that kind of power feed. 32amp distribution strips is common. Two strips per rack is common. But still not enough, and it's not good to use above 80% of supply (for reliability).

That's almost the price of a 5 year old Audi A3, every single month!

Are you all mining your rigs yourselves, or are you letting them to another user via a site such as leaserig?

We're adding more and more GPUs on a weekly basis, and we've got 4 AntMiners coming in tomorrow. Total within the next few weeks should be ~40MH/s scrypt, and ~2TH/s SHA256.

Hows the heat? I cant imagine that box fan is enough.. I need a humidifier im dealing with hot dry air. Ambient for the room is ~50F, and most of the cards are between 55-65C. It's winter in New England, and there's a filtered box fan in the window to the right in the pic, behind the rigs. It's blowing 0-20F air into the room, and the cards are nice and cool! We have 50kBTUs of AC ready to go, but we're holding off while we can, cuz a box fan is cheaper. Nice RIG Thanks!

Tomorrow will be the coldest day of the last 10 months here in SoCal - get down to a chilly 49F at night. I swear God mad this the hottest winter in history on this side of the US. How are you regulating the humidity if you're bringing in outside air?

Ive got some miners going in my garage but unfortunately i run a small business out of my garage so its my office too! It been really tough for me as the miners are sucking the air out of the room! Its really dry and hot on my lungs & sinus is paying for it big time. Ive got a boiling pot of water going almost all day to act as a humidifier and i have the door open but it overall sucks.. Box fan isnt helping.. It may just be helping spread particles of dust which is just not helping.. Its taking a toll on my health and its starting to piss me off.. i need to regulate it somehow before even consider scaling up .. Looking at other peoples setup is helpful but im sure nobody is spending many hours a day with their miner in the same room!

How are you regulating the humidity if you're bringing in outside air? Cold air is dry. It's only -4F or -20C where I am in Canada, I'm surprised that New England is even colder.

You should be able to get 800+ on those cards each.
settings, please? I can't get over 740 with mine, MSI has been a much better performer for me than sapphire dual-x or gigabyte windforce Dont belive every troll who doesnt know shit. Your cards generally are not able to do clocks which are needed for 800+khs. You need minimum 1160/1800 for that. Besides, pushing 280x to its limits not even closely efficent anymore. Those cards will consume way over 280W each and will be insanely hot when you push them like that. As a result fans would not survive over 3 months. Its a common flaw of several cards, If fans are running high rpms. You should be able to get 800+ on those cards each.
settings, please? I can't get over 740 with mine, MSI has been a much better performer for me than sapphire dual-x or gigabyte windforce 800+ is impossible. My elcheapo MSI 280X only gets 688kH, because it's crappy core only does 980MHz stable. 720kH is the normal top-end speed of these cards, 800kH is a drug-induced hallucination. It is possible and I've been doing it with multiple rigs for a long time now. You should really do some research... I do overclock the cards but there is nothing wrong with that. Also please note, I undervolt them before I overclock them even They run cool... just fine. https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=14339.msg111704#msg111704All my settings, screenshots, etc. are there. I have a 6 card rig and a 4 card rig running similarly. Getting the proper BIOS flash, then undervolting it are great ways to get good kh/s and run on less power. You should be able to use the same BIOS on your cards that I'm using on mine... This image below is old and was taken after the rig was running for 24 hours... https://i.imgur.com/toObVGh.jpgThis image below shows sgminer which has been running for 12 days or so... so don't tell me about stability. Its also in a room with a pretty hot ambient temperature and you can see the cards are staying plenty cool.. https://i.imgur.com/lkqeeG6.jpgand.... one more pic. https://i.imgur.com/KX2lzgJ.pngWhat model of the 280X cards these are? And which bios did you use ?
