God is not some person who rules the world. These are Nature, fundamental laws. each of us has a piece of God, therefore, evidence is not needed here. People make me laugh when they try to prove the existence of God in a scientific way. After all, science is just one of the ways of knowing the world. You can do the same with, for example, esoterics, or anything else.

The fact that science exists, and that we, as individual beings, can examine science, is proof that God exists. Where would science come from if not from God. Where would the material of the universe come from if not from God? Where would the empty space that holds the stars, etc., come from if not from God?

Standard scientific understanding says that complexity can only come from something more complex. Entropy shows that this is true. Things only decrease, because entropy permeates all things.

We have no evidence of anything simply jumping into existence... not a shred of evidence. The gigantic complexity of the universe shows that there had to have been a super-intelligence with super-abilities to have put it all together. That is what the definition of "God" is.

Yes ! I can never understand how scientist can be atheist. Those who are nihilists Who think everything is just chaos and dont care ok, but scientists Who believe that mathematics is the language of the universe, Who are seeking logical reasonning and rationalism to explain the universe, then saying it has no purpose or reason , i dont understand. Believing in science to describe the universe with logical reasonning is pretty much the same than saying there is a god.

How do you know that ALL gods have makers? You don't. You operate by universe physics, and can't really determine what physics would be like outside of the universe.

God is outside the universe as well as within it. However, when He made the universe, He was outside of it. Do you have evidence of what things outside the universe are like? Perhaps things out there have always existed... without beginning or end.

If by "proof" you mean formal proof, all you can prove is conformity of a statement with a set of axioms, but you can never prove the axioms are true. If you follow liebniz concept of sufficient reason that require To prove something true as Well as that it cannot be otherwise and the solution is the best possible, you can never prove this using a formal proof system, as godel theorem shows.

How can you explain Love (absolute, not just to a certain person) by science? How can you prove goodness, honesty, justice and all the good that exists? it just exists.

It is wrong to compare science and esotericism (religion, faith, and everything related to it). They all exist in parallel. The brain - thinks and analyzes, the soul - feels and understands (and this is closer to the truth than in science).

In addition, we must not forget that science cannot prove everything, this is just another way of understanding the world.

I think the atheist there sadly wasn't trying to really understand your point, I am in a state of doubt on the question of god existing or not because of the theory that I believe to work better with our current understand in physics, I believe that the mirror universe is the most probable theory of being correct because it can be traced from mathematics perfectly so it can't be disproved by reasoning alone and in that view I don't see how god fits in the picture could you lend me your opinion on the matter?
