What is going to happen on 10th August?
There will be a huge BTC dump, as everyone is buying on the news right now and then when the reality hits its gonna be a massive shit. hopefully the smart ones will move into Monero along with the ones that just left to ride the upswing. So, IOW I think it will be good for us but bad for crypto as a whole and if BTC takes too big a hit then it will take us down as well but not as far as the others. It looks like the worst time to hold any alts at the moment , every bitcoin movement up or down creates a sellof for altcoins including monero.
I don't think it's causing a 'sell off'. BTC is just out performing everything right now. But it will pass. Those buyers will run out of bullets and will be forced to hedge in alts sooner or later. I got me an alt that I'm bagholding that I wish to god it would pump now! I feel dirty holding this. Lmao. LOL, yeah we went sideways for so long I said fuck it and started buying a differant crappy alt every week trying to dump on their pump to get more Romero's but everything started to take a nose dive and of course all those shitcoins are falling faster. I can't seem to do anything correctly since the alphabay blindside.

ROFLMFAO!!! Looks like a maybe, glad I held off for the moment
W0w, talk about going to shit! Polo market down to Total: 211.52122082 BTC
got dumped from .0181X to .0177
Binance still has good support. I think Polo will end up Delisting soon.
Poloniex once has been Monero, and Monero almost exclusively. Saved their asses on their recovery following a hack. Doubt they will ever drop it. Goldman would have to apply regulatory pressure upon the operations team. Those 211 BTC come close to moving 2110 BTC back in 2016, the "size" of 1 BTC has changed.

People want bitcoin for 10th August.
What is going to happen on 10th August? I believe Febo is referring to an expected SEC decision as to whether a BTC ETF will be permitted. ETF never ever get permitted. Always only announcements of dead lines.

People want bitcoin for 10th August. What will happen after 10th August? Huge BTC dump. And probably soon after a bottom of this Bitcoin cycle. So what good trader do when everyone is buying Bitcoin? They buy alts. So Buy Monero and buy back Bitcoin after 10th August dump. If you need Bitcoin so much.
The people on /r/ethtrader are pretty bearish at the moment ( normally they are circlejerk permabulls in there ) , many expect a huge dump for alts on both scenario's: ETF approval or rejection.

Probably when Bitcoin will raise again...
BTC has risen over 20% in the last week , but alts have dropped significantly in the last week. What will alts do when BTC does another 10/20% percent bounce ? probably dump. A 10% dump ? alts will dump. It's insane i think. But i hope i'm wrong and markets will turn normal at some moment of time. This was just the scenario that happened last year BEFORE the alt season. Everybody keeps forgetting that alts don't always rise and fall together with BTC, in fact, they do the exact opposite before doing the copy Bitcoin moves dance. When Bitcoin dominace very low = price start climbing. When Bitcoin dominance gaining and alt losing = price start climbing. People sell alts for BTC. When Bitcoin dominance high = price stabilizing. Buying alts is good idea. Then as it goes down, everything goes copycat.

Yeah...? But meanwhile in the middle of the bear market, all ICO scammers would have to do the ole run and hide from the authorities trick... And which coin has the best privacy features again? Oh yes. Montero. I expect it to be back in the top 5 by 2021 - 2022 right before Fluffy exit scams on 2023.

ETH fucked up again, locking funds due to 2 smartcontracts. It's their personal speciality, not related to big money. Except one considers loosing $46 Million as big money.

Subscribe to our Airdrop You mean this Shit is so good they are giving it away!!! Damn I have to buy Monero. I must be doing it wrong. Dude, stopped on their discord and people were talking about "If the price pumps to X, I'll buy a lambo for every day of the week!" Don't they know the life cycle of a privacy shitcoin? 1. launch coin silently so devs can accumulate 2. make incredible claims (IE. Whitepaper SOON!) 3. work noobs into a frothy lather of expectations 4. go full-shill and attack Monero 5. pump and die 6. take what you learned and start a new coin (only appies to devs and pump masters) You don't skip to 4

it's just a mechanism to mix-up transactions and balances across multiple addresses. These "laundry" services exist for a while. The new Wasabi wallet just makes Coinjoin easy to use via Tor for a 0.3% fee. It's handy if you don't want to show your balance when you pay something but Monero goes way further... I don't think Bitcoin will ever go full private because it would be against the original vision of Satoshi. And sincerely, I like it like that. I think we need both private and non-private coins in this world.

XMR is not as tied to the alt market as other coins. Optional Fungability will never keep you safe. Dude, stopped on their discord and people were talking about "If the price pumps to X, I'll buy a lambo for every day of the week!"
