Is Monero's short term price outlook getting as obscure as Monero's transactions?  

Time to jump out of the cliff?  

pattern of XMR makes me think it's in limbo.  give it a few more days, it will be an easy "sell/stay away for now", or a "buy/hold" decision.  hope it's the latter.

It's probably due for another small correction soon as the profit-takers are probably looking to re-position themselves. I don't think we will get back to September or mid-june prices at any point soon.  The only thing going for it is that it's starting to be used in the dark corners of the internet now as an alternative to darkcoin.

we'll see what happens in a few days. i am not one to "hold and hope".  if nothing's happening, sell.

Lol, there are no examples. There are no real dark net markets doing any real volume in XMR, or even DRK for that matter. (Don't talk to me about your 4 websites accepting DRK. Show me even $3000 worth of transactions and I'll be surprised). We're in the experimental stages.

Lol, there are no examples. There are no real dark net markets doing any real volume in XMR, or even DRK for that matter. (Don't talk to me about your 4 websites accepting DRK. Show me even $3000 worth of transactions and I'll be surprised). We're in the experimental stages.

yeah. for the record, I'd love to see a side by side plot of bitcoin vs. monero that shows adoption (transaction volume? market cap? a metric combining the two?) over time of inception, with version numbers pinned to the timeline. It hasn't even been a year on this coin. BTC started in 09.  and its STILL in beta. Hell, all of crypto is in the experimental stages. To me, this is the nature of open source development.

as for it's not widely used as a currency yet, it's not a problem for me to be quite honest.  if it's trending up for the longterm then it's all good.  but i would be willing to go super longterm to the moon if signs point to mass adoption.  and rightly so.
