The coin is a superb investment - I think you have made a mistake, but its not to late you can join the party to. Price is going to go way up.
Thing about this coin it has 'Newbie" all over it. This is the type of coin that will newcomers to the crypto world will invest in. Why is that?
Because it will benefit from being associated with Litecoin and newcomers will have hear dof litecoin but wont like the price so much.
It matters not a jot there is no connection to it. Newbies will see Litecoin at No2,
look at the price and then dream one day their ltcd will be worth such a price.

Again it matters not a jot if it did or not because whatever
happens I think just the coins name, the ability to still get in on it whilst its very cheap, and it does some better features than
Litecoin ++ the thread isn't heaped full of technical jargon will appeal to them.....
I mean compared to many many other coins this one really has a lot going for it.

I  Just have been watching this coin for a while, and it didn't die out as quickly as I expected. Now I'm wondering what's causing this, and asked the community.

If the coin had remained just as it had upon launch, you're right, it would have died.  IMO it's mostly because TrollByFire came on board as the core dev and he wants to create something that actually improves upon the core tech and not just add bells and whistles like what most hyped up coins do. At this point, other than the way it's being modified to be "modular", there's not too much new in the coin.  It's what the coin can become over the next few months though that is what is keeping people interested etc.

I think you forget the most important part, that it is ruled by the community and that the premine is still there and only used when buying addons for the coin, like the second blockexplorer.

If you're going to be the PR person, you really need to be more professional and not attack people just because they may or may not say something negative about the coin.  Driving people away from a coin can kill it just as well as other things.

I did read the whitepaper, and what I've learned from that is what I allready knew. Lots of promises but no features so far. The dev even stated this in the whitepaper;

"We will try to add Supernet to LitecoinDark, If the BitcoinDark developer is willing to
accept this. To get on board, the LitecoinDark team must come with something unique.
We are seriously thinking of which unique features to add to differentiate this coin. We
cannot yet give information about these unique features, but we will be engaged in
community consultation when the project has progressed sufficiently''

It's good to see that the dev is honest on this part, and I really hope he comes up with some good ideas. However, untill then I will hold my BTC's.

If someone asks questions that is written all over the place it should read carefully before posting  ( I would do)and do to all the fudding going on from the beginning it is hard not to have this protection organism build in... if you understand my point !

Isn't that pretty much true of 99% of the new coins that launch? It's only been maybe a month and the core dev has been mostly refactoring in order to be able to move in the direction he envisions.

I understand what you're saying. But as the PR person it's your job to present LTCD in the best possible light, even if that means you have to repeat stuff over and over again (showing how helpful LTCD is), hand hold newbs, and bite your tongue at times.  lol

As you like, but the second gen is planned for release. The first NEW feature that this coin has proven is that Diggyshield is build outsite the core.
The whole wallet has been rebuild from scratch and we are able to add features without even touching the core, like pushing out wallet updates and many many other things we cant and will not tell yet.
All new ideas are put up for voting and community decides what has to be done with the coin, and i think thats one of the most strong features about LTCD.
