I do not agree. If 10 people joined up together on the main pool you still wouldn't get such a large share of the prize. as the rest of the pool takes a slice too.
Here if we team up some hashrate the payout would be much much better.
If that were not the case why would 10 people throw 0.125 btc at a "shot" at the block. Why not just point hashrate at it?
Dear friend, ten member with 500GH? what that means? I would cooperate when this team be able to collect 20,000TH. I can provide 200TH. No it dose not say ten members with 500ghs. It says 10 members, with a minimum hashrate to join of 500ghs which would be around a S3 antminer. It just stops people with stick miners trying to join taking up a place. Here's an idea Magic, it would probably be better to start the pool 10 slots with a minimum 200Th so that way the odds increase with 1Ph instead of having slots used up by lets say 2-S3 500Gh 3-S4 2Th 2-S9 26Th 1@200Th 1@400Th 1@500Th Becuase i wouldnt want to bring my 400Th to this game. I like the idea chillfactr. But the idea was to try get some smaller miners together for the run we still need to be super super super lucky. It was more an idea for people like myself who have one or two machine still running working in a team rather than us all going at the glory alone like a lot of us have been doing. I value the input if we were to do something like about how would we work out the payment if we did crack a block? My thoughts were if we treat it like a team effort where everyone is rewarded the same it would stop someone jumping in with a rental and scooping the most reward if we try to keep it a fair system when everyone work is treated the same and everyone get's there cut from the outset there can be no arguments or disagreements come potential payday. This also required the user to agree to this when joining you know from the outset the reward would be split fair across all 10 users so you could choose to put in as little or as much as you see fit as per the potential reward, but moreover its about team spirit and the potential payout if we did break one. ** EDIT ** Update to Non-Paid Block hunt list 1. Like I said its more a team thing not looking for my balls are bigger than your balls here so I should get more pie than you. Its some forum fun with a potential payout I think a TEAM effort should be a fair split. as said already if your looking at it in the light of not everyone is equal then best mine on the main pool and share your reward depending on your hashrate. Another reason is I am not sure how we could work out the payments if we go by shares or hashrate it really is better just to say well 10 people split the reward even that's smells like team spirit to me Go on MadMartyK be a team player and join us! I am open to ideas though I just thought doing it this way would be simpler for those who mine alone or are small home miners still hanging in there for the miracle

@ philipma1957 Good luck to the "10 fools club for solo.ckpool"
@ MagicByt3 how about calling your club the "10 luckier fools club for solo.ckpool" I'm actually in awe at how quickly the paid pool filled up seems we have some gamblers in the house. I think we could drop the fools from the name and go with, 10 hashate hero's still striving on for glory! sounds much more epic! End of the day we still got our hashrate after the rentals dry up and we don't have a time limit on our shot. While we slowly cruise on past with the windows down and the system up!

I mentioned the issues I had with a recent order on NH. Basically the same thing. I rented just 1PH on a standard order and hash rates went up and down drastically based on other rentals that were paying substantially more than I paid, sucking up all the hash power. Any other viable rental options? Why do fixed orders not work with this solo pool? In my experience they just slow down to a crawl and eventually get cancelled.

Not going to lie I gave up on NH after the "hack" and started renting at https://www.miningrigrentals.com/Good customer support and never had any issues there and I have had some refunds for rentals that didn't meet the spec's offered over the rental period they do treat the customer much better here than at NH

I bought a fixed rate rental at NH, and pointed it here (the latest found block).
I didn't face any issues.
The open market price at NH is too much hassle because it can vary a lot during the rental period.
