Was it a nh rental?

nh stands for Nice Hash, a rent service, just try to google it and you will find it.

@block #600292

Thank you guys for the good wishes.

I'm out of words, I can't believe I hit a block second time here in the solo.ckpool. (previous time was at block 391994).

It was actually quite a gamble with 0.092 BTC for 12-hour 10PH rental.

Great pool, great forum, great people.

Good luck for everyone, let's keep cracking those blocks..!

Well done!
What a result!

I was thinking a rental would crack this one was not long after telling someone might be a idea to do a large rental.

Enjoy the coin!

Is there anywhere that the "pool luck" is displayed?
I dont see it in the pool stats.
Thanks,

There is no pool luck as every miner got his own luck.
The so called "solopool", is an external bitcoind with a infrastructure of server and notification links for mining
and a easy to use method to connect to it (like on a pool).
Therefor there is no pool, only an overall calculation of total hashrate and so on.

pool luck is hard to figure due to multiple diff moves for a block. .  Ie one diff four blocks luck is easy to figure.    But four diff changes and one block luck is hard to calculate.

Perhaps there was however, as said earlier this is not a pool per-se.

This is more of a server site that anyone can access to mine for themselves (minus the 1% -ck gets) vs you having to setup your own node. How many others mine here and find blocks is irrelevant as the block rewards are not shared. Either way, ignoring differences in BTC network access and block propagation times to your node & miner(s) which would affect number of stales/orphans, your chances of hitting a block is the same for here or your own node.

For here "Pool Luck" is just a gauge of aggregate users speed at any point in time vs number of block found by that same point in time. Ja you can get a number for it but is meaningless in the usual sense.

By the way, lightening is the phenomenon where the baby's head engages during pregnancy usually around 36 weeks. Lightning is what you want.

Hope this pool can update its interfaces and stats at some point, depending on the port your hashing on stats are not displayed for 4334 and is for 3333 among the other ports also doing the same. Not able to set static diff, could use some TLC on updates.

Huh? I pointed some rental hashrate to it on 4334 and saw my stats no problem. Also if you look through this thread the pool is really being run at a courtesy.

Not a chance. You want fancy shit interfaces, look elsewhere. This pool is in its dying stages and the last thing on earth I'm going to do is do an expensive fancy shit interface update for absolutely fucking nothing. The last 250+ block solvers didn't seem to care.

we rather you keep the pool running - this is a solo pool - no stats needed - if they want some stats, get the app for the phone.

Yeah it is hard to rent 0.1 btc of hash since that is about two weeks of profit for me.

And the odds are more then 120 to 1.   So 750 to 800 spent on a 120 to one shot is a move.

Oh wow, so $800 buys me a 1 in 120 chance to win $100,000? That's a lot better than any 'little lotto'

haha tempted to try this tonight. But the last time I tried to rent a rig at nicehash it told me the solock diff wasn't compatible and wouldn't run.

Hello,
I've been wanting to learn more about and do some Solo mining for a while now. I have a decent sized farm at 20PH and am about to grow that out. I just pointed 10 of my S9's over here and they are running fine. Finding the stats is easy. This sure seems like a really good opportunity. Question; Obviously 140 TH/s isn't much Hash. Is there a consensus on the level of Hashrate that needs to be put to the task that creates better luck/odds. I would guess it's pretty high like 30-40PH?? I can't point everything here but I would move a good piece if truly "more is better"? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!
