LETS GO..
I nice big fat block would be nice..
That is, it would be nice for the person that finds it. Aside from that warm fuzzy feeling from knowing the pool hit a block, regarding income it would be meaningless to the others here...

If I hit a block today  or in the next 24 hours I will send you 0.01 btc. Grin

I will also send 0.01 btc to jimjam123  Grin

http://solo.ckpool.org/users/146UJM5kgzLVUV23CXCf33KQKHckoX1gx3

How about make it .1 🤣🤣

By the way... NVM
I will send you 0.08 all three gifts add to .1

Now we're talking,

And Likewise if i hit a block,

we used to have some  fun with this pool.  I am all for having some fun again.

I remember those days.  And remember when we had pools for a big rental to hit a block.
Now -cK is neglecting us 😭😭😭
Only pays attention to his other .org pool

If we were all mining ⛏ gold and have not found any gold after 7 months.   Would we still continue to mine
for gold???
Cmon you 7 month block 🤦🏽‍♂️

I will do the same.
I had 5 of my S9's pointed at the pool, just got super expensive as they are at home and $0.19 /KWH.
I am totally down for a game/raffle or something cool.
A block is on the horizon...i can feel it.

So based on our pool hashrate and current difficulty, looks like we are just about due for a block..
looks like about 1/year or thereabouts.

How about a game or something to make things interesting?
I would be all about chipping in and renting some major TH/s for a few weeks or something.
Just sucks to not see CKSOLO under the block winners....

LMK what you guys think..

A block would be nice. It's getting hard to justify running this pool since it hasn't even been paying for its running costs in quite a while.

Alright, if you're all still keen for this pool to keep running, then I'll keep it going. I don't need handouts to keep it running but thanks for the offer. This, and the other pool, are pretty much only running as a service to the community now and won't ever make me money any more. If you feel like donating absolutely as a sign of support, that's a different story, and welcome.

what I dont get is why your pool mining isnt larger - you are a zero fee there right? would think that would be huge!

Multiple reasons, but it's proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's not fee that determines where people mine.

Inertia.
Size attracts more size.
Advertising.
Size attracts more size.
Fancy shit webshites.
Size attracts more size.
Deals with big miners.
Size attracts more size.
Trust perception (haha)
Size attracts more size.
Preconfigured pool defaults by mining companies
Size attracts more size.

You probably get the picture by now what is the most important factor, right?
