Block! That's block number 9 for GLORYTrading!
BLOCK FRIDAY is REAL!!! I am have been monitoring the unique pattern for a few weeks now, and the Kano pool has an unique event and almost "alignment of planets" like magic every Friday! According to my prediction ... there will be another block coming very soon ... less than 4 hours from now Ha ha it's like magic 4 hrs.... next one will be 5 hours from now! You were on the money calling those last 2 blocks!

Kano I've been using the stratum.kano.is pool in first place and de.kano.is in second, but my connection to the DE server its about 100ms faster, should I move DE to first option? I'm asking because DE pool server its still in beta, right? Thanks.
Yeah nodes are still in beta ... and that restart just crashed and burned so a lot of people failed over Only affected everyone for a couple of minutes and all is back ok again. Numbers are getting back up to where they were, before the restart was at 15PH now over 14PH Edit: ok back now over 15PH (higher than before the restart)15ph is nice but I would love us to be 5% of the network. So 859 x .05 = 42.95ph we have some work to do.

Just grabbed it. Since I wasn't in the beta this is my first look at it. I like it. I can't wait to see what happens when we find that next block I'll have some more feedback once I've played with it a little more.

Should I install this version or just stay with test flight beta and run that? I'd see updates in the test flight version before public version I assume but just checking. Great Job! Please post your BTC for donations. Should also post that within the app to make it easy.

stay with testflight. the donation address [1CKaPP1wSBBfqhJB5uE7QBqyvEf2EBSjQe] is in my signature on on the first post of the forum topic (edit: apple has policies against donation button - easy rejected - i'll tack it in at some point once i figured it out). big shout out to all those who sent me test api addresses and beta users.

Is the CKPOOL Status (Kano) for Android the equivalent of this? Its for the same pool i.e. Kano.is but development has stalled and there are a couple of bugs still (like false block found and crashes when the kano.is website is down). Also doesn't have the workers or advanced features that the IOS version seems to have. In a near future I am hoping to take up the development of my own Android app (unless this gets an update first)

Oh.....so different developer. Thanks for the heads up, I'm on Android. I guess I will stick with the ZachM web interface and alerting for now. Seems to do the job quite well so. So much excitement whenever I get that email alert.

Yes! The rented hash profits!
careful rentals have been high. Agreed! This was the first hash that I have ever rented. The circumstance was very unusual-- the spread between low renting price and selling price on West/NiceHash was >20% a couple days ago (that doesn't happen often). Now, I know could have just taken the 45%+ extra from selling my hash there and dropped to zero on Kano for a while, but I really didn't want to be away from here that long. I decided to take advantage of the price spread instead. Here's how: while selling my hash to West/Nice I also bought the same rate back at a much cheaper rate than I was being paid. Sure I paid around a 20% premium on that hash compared to BTC rate, but I was still (45%+) - 20% = (25%+) ahead and I thought it was worth the risk on that 20% to not miss any positive variance here during the ramp down/up. There were a few times during that day that I had to let the rental drop to zero rather than follow the price up, so there were gaps in the rental and I was left with a small amount ( BTC0.007) on the rental when I wanted to stop watching over the rental and go to sleep. I got a little daring and upped the hash rate to 50TH to burn through the remainder (though the rental overshot and sustained 60TH-65TH for nearly the entire time). That left me with a couple very risky shifts, kosaki and lucy, containing the higher hash rate burst that I've been talking about: 5wgp7 mutsumi Jan-27 04:46:28 46m 13s 0 0 0GHs 0 0.00 8 0.03309 158.89% 5wghs lucy Jan-27 04:02:11 44m 17s 8.088M 47.578k 13.07THs 170 47,578.00 8 0.03309 158.89% 5wgcm kosaki Jan-27 03:15:07 47m 4s 23.188M 95.156k 35.26THs 1.156k 20,058.44 7 0.02891 138.80% 5wg75 juvia Jan-27 02:30:46 44m 20s 3.546M 9.525k 5.72THs 2.082k 1,702.98 7 0.02891 138.80%
My excitement was when kosaki hit 6 payouts... my risk paid off at that point! With the remaining blocks during the night kosaki ended up paying 7 times and lucy 8 times. Yes, kosaki just fell outside of the last block! So, so close to 8 but I'm still happy! Anyway, despite not risking a lot it was way too stressful for my taste and keeping the order at the best rate took up too much time for the small gain, so I probably will not be doing it again. It was more of a low risk curiosity of mine than anything, and now I know.

Ok, once you have a worker hashing to the pool, how long does it take to see it listed in your account? Or, maybe I misunderstand something. Account setup just asks for payout address (it does not ask for workers names). I guess, the following is not very clear:
"Your worker name can be whatever you choose and will be created when your miner connects to the pool."
So, if i already have a name for the worker in, say, S7 interface, what will be created (de novo?) when miner connects to the pool? Should be nothing; pool should just pick up the name I already given, right?
