That block will also make the restart about 10 minutes later so may be as late 12:35

tl;dr;
The block was about 10 minutes after the end of the zekken shift - and started the akatsuki belldandy shift effectively 35 minutes earlier - so the akatsuki belldandy shift will finish 10 minutes later than zekken akatsuki would have.

I noticed this pool yesterday through a youtube video and I want my hash to stay in the western world. My farm is on Iceland,  so what is the latency times to Iceland ? I need a pool with minimum latency and did try out Bitclub pool that also runs CK, but the are struggling with ddos and I'm looking for a reliable pool to point 240TH. Is Kano worth a trial?

Try the de.kano.is node - that will be closer to you:

Yes Kano is worth a trial. And Yes its worth staying on.

Try the de node like kano mentioned. you could also have the farm ping the primary node to compare send/receive times if your curious.

What kind of machines you got making up the 240th?

Ok, I will give it a try.

Germany
stratum+tcp://de.kano.is:3333
stratum+tcp://de.kano.is:80
stratum+tcp://de.kano.is:81
stratum+tcp://de.kano.is:443
stratum+tcp://de.kano.is:8080

You should probably use one of these main connections as a backup in case the DE node has any issues.

stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333
stratum+tcp://stratum81.kano.is:81
stratum+tcp://stratum443.kano.is:443

Block by rvalero01 with 9.9THs!  That gets him on the Acclaim Board with his first kano block!

Edit:  The last couple of blocks have been nice fat fee blocks  Cheesy

Join us you won't be disappointed, the DE node has been very good and if you need some info you'll find plenty of feedback and help here

Even though with 240Th I doubt you need any help :p

Someone said that antpool UI looked better, but hey, I find kano very lisible and fast, so function over form works for me !

Thanks for the help guys. I'm messing around with ping times right now.
To get to 240TH I have 50 pcs S5 and 35 pcs SP20e and 28 pcs S7.
Can't make up my mind to sell off the S5's or wait for the Bitfury upgrade of the S5's. That would make them all small reliable 3.5TH miners…

Block!  This one by 12TMh (his 11th kano block) really was brought on by the restart!

Edit:  Dang, I was going to do some yard work today but with all of the blocks flying I can't pull myself away!  Cheesy

Heh, no the CKDB restart doesn't affect the work generation.

Though, any new users or users leaving does affect it ... Xircom Smiley

So even with the cheaters

last 100 blocks = 104.43%
last 250 blocks =  110.40%
our lifetime      =  106.11%

Description   Time         MeanTx%   Diff%   Mean%   CDF[Erl]   Luck%
Last 5 Blocks   1.0days   101.7%   70.91%   70.91%   0.2832   141.02%
Last 10 Blocks   1.9days   101.3%   70.17%   70.17%   0.1713   142.50%
Last 25 Blocks   6.0days   101.3%   84.93%   84.93%   0.2335   117.74%
Last 50 Blocks   13.7days   101.1%   104.85%   105.23%   0.6593   95.03%
Last 100 Blocks   25.3days   101.3%   95.66%   95.76%   0.3459   104.43%
Last 250 Blocks   10.4wks   101.2%   91.46%   90.58%   0.0646   110.40%
Last 500 Blocks   53.9wks   101.0%   92.44%   93.70%   0.0771   106.73%

All - Last 683 Blocks   78.9wks   100.8%   92.95%   94.24%   0.0639   106.11%

I told the forum in this thread Jan 23 2016  around the 457th block so 226  blocks later  and we moved from 104.22 % to 106.11%

and that is with the cheaters. (note Kano has caught them and put in some defense against them)

We have   pretty good pool stats

agreed. hard to beat a pool that has a good pool owner that is still active in the community and has good members that actually help each other instead of the typical forum flames.

Plus the coding that has been done for this pool. Hard to beat a pool that the owners wrote the code for a majority of all the miners being used today.
