Was there a disturbance in the force?
All of my orders on the NiceHash side (which I point to DE) went red/dead (into the area at the bottom of the page). They came back with no miners assigned and have been sitting in the list unfilled for 10 minutes now. My stuff on the WH side (which I point at the main pool) is up and fine.
Edit: ...and it doesn't matter now anyway since my orders on the NH side were just overtaken. At least I have one order going on WH.
Yes, another DE <-> Main node disconnect at 19:33 UTC - failover, but only short, so was like yesterday everyone was back on the next reconnect Again it was the alarms to wake me up, so by the time I got to look at it, it was reconnecting everyone again. I'm now adding regular mtrs running on the nodes so that I have some numbers to throw at the providers when these happen, rather than having them say I need to run an mtr coz there's nothing wrong (now) ... after the fact It's of course almost always linode (which is what the DE and SG nodes are) and to be blunt they have some idiots on their support at linode

You Guys are all talking about stuff off-topic. Can we get back down to CK/kano pool stuff and not 'Who is renting what at how much'? But, heck, who am I to say...I dropped out of this pool completely...too rich for my little 'home-farm' to stay. Have fun... CanpBDL Is it considered off topic if people are renting with the purpose of cracking our 22 hour block? Maybe not...that would be up to kano and ck_. Could be I spoke out of turn CapnBDL

Of course the signature contradicts itself so...

I left the house tonight and didn't watch my rentals closely. While I was gone they shot up to and sustained 75TH for hours (and even had a 95TH blip)! Oops! Given recent history, I didn't expect both WH and NH to dip into the 0.0028 area at the same time. (I keep enough orders posted so that I can average 36TH with just WH or just NH when only one is feasible; I usually drop the price on half of the orders when both are alive simultaneously).
Please, please, please hit 6 or more fast blocks within the 5n now so that my mistake turns out to be a lucky one!
I've had nothing but the bad end of luck since I started this rental experiment and could use some good news. Changing methods to smooth out my average and keep things alive has helped with the variance, but I'm still down a lot. This takes way too much babysitting too-- I'm writing a bot to handle the order manipulation for me (using my rules) when I'm away/asleep, but that will not be done for a few days.
I never though I would say this, but I really long for the days when the N range was almost a week long instead of just a little over a day! Back then a blip in on/off variance was a lot easier to manage. Of course, it also came with the pain of Red October, so maybe not...

What we really need is about a dozen other 2-5 MW data center operators to come over. I loathe variance as much as the next miner.....but if all of us said "enough" to the Chinese pools, we could easily get to 100 PH and really smooth things out.
