Anyone connected to the DE node, have all sorts of (linode) trouble with it for that last half hour. Seems the linode DE network itself is ... screwed at the moment. Will post again once all is OK.
Connecting to DE from some places on the planet works OK now. However, not everywhere, e.g. I can't connect to it directly, only via other servers. Half the hash rate is back. I suspect for most it is OK now, let me know if anyone can't connect (like me ) I had a WH rental ongoing but it was terminated. I'm getting 'Remote pool terminated connection. Trying to reestablish soon' error. Hope this is solved soon.

Hey Kano, how many addresses do you have that start with 1Kano? Just curious.
No idea I generated lots of them but only used some.

According to linode their Frankfurt hardware was under DDoS (then they also listed some in USA and JP) I'm able to connect directly myself also, so I can only assume that the DDoS quietened down a while ago.

2 of 6 of my NiceHash rentals (pointed to DE) can't connect ("Remote pool terminated connection. Trying to reestablish soon."). My WestHash orders (pointed to the main pool) are all fine.
Unfortunately, my best order on NH is included in what is down-- I had a sweet order at or very near the top of 0.0027 that would be running now. It likely has lost its place and will return at the bottom once it comes back alive.

It's been fine since before I last posted about it. I guess they force you to reconnect if anything happens.

I was afraid of that-- it appears these two became stuck and didn't come back when the others did. I hope NH enjoys their extra 8 cents (the non-refundable 0.0001 part of the two dead orders).

Yes, if the connection to the pool is interrupted for a certain amount of time, they will drop your order down into the dreaded dead zone. When the connection is reestablished, most of the time it goes back to the same rate level but you lose any position you may have earned. It really doesn't happen very often when you're pointed to any of the kano nodes.

Stay strong and keep the vision for the month...we are ahead of our production from March of 129 blocks or 4.16 blocks/day average. So far this month we are at 86 blocks or 4.53 blocks/day. It will work out over the longer stretches.

This is not a hobby/interest/livelihood for the faint of heart, methinks...as my late Pop's wall hanging said, "Old age is not for sissies..." I'm beginning to understand that now! Imua... (onward)

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)
