Slightly OT.... The rentals on WH are going crazy! I started my small 30TH rental pointed at Kano @ .0028 and stopped chasing the price upward just now @ .0032. Lots of people renting 100's and even 1,000's of miners all the way up to .0042!! Crazy. I quit. Just gonna let my order sink along with my 5N BTW, anyone know if the top miner - at 11 PH - is a rental or a farm? Just curious. Let's find some blocks!!! mines been at .0028 im not taking it any higher its been offline for about 4-5 hours I'm taking mine back down to .0028 also and just let it sit. Maybe it will get some action overnight once some of the BTC's are burned up. I normally don't go as high as .0032, but just wanted to add 30TH to my three S7's in hopes of a weekend run. Oh well, I'm currently blasting away @ 13.81 TH I can smell my block from here! Yeah the rentals are out of control right now. I had things down at .0025 at some points yesterday, won't go above 0.0027-28 max. Just never seems to work out. Not only that but today is the first time in MONTHS that my S3 has "failed up" to NH. I have it set to only hash there when the rate they pay is absurdly high. I feel like someone is trying to raise everyone's rental rates so that's why this is happening. If prices haven't dropped in a few hours I'm gonna have to go into my S3 and manually switch it back to Kano.

I've always thought it would be cool to have a property with a grain mill run by a water wheel. I would take out the mill stones and put in a giant generator that would be driven by the water wheel...there were several of these mills back home where I grew up. Free electricity (after the generator paid for itself) and I could get off the grid!
We have similar dreams (some would term them nightmares, though).

I'm switching pools from slush. Been losing a lot of rewards lately due to the massive increase in hashing.
I'm going to see how it goes.

I see solo is a little over 4Ph, maybe trying luck there but these prices are insane. But thats only 4PH, there is over 10PH over .0035 right now. New SHA256 coin? any clues?

The hardware owners. Right now they're averaging about 140% of expectations, even after the 3% NH takes off the top. Oh, and of course NH makes their cut (3% from the renter and 3% from the owner).

Well yea, forgot to state that owners are making out. Was just thinking how can anyone renting make money. Maybe Kano should send all the pool hash to NH and guarantee all miners 37% over PPS. Haha. I'm surprised that at these prices there is not 50ph for sale now.

3-block day is no picnic..... 2 of those in a row is a nightmare..... may we hit our normal 4-5 blocks per day now!
TCSDR1 doing us a big favor by hitting a block past midnight and we have plenty of upsides to go.

The pattern to luck vs hash can be demonstrated quite clearly by this simple analysis Hash goes up - we go RABBIT (low luck) - RABBIT is not a CHICKEN Hash goes down - we go DUCK (great luck) - of course DUCK is very very similar to CHICKEN which proves multiple points in relation to this pool. This rather technical graph shows the relationship and explains the correlations as we experience in real life pool situations. This was proven at Slush when it went PEAR which is not CHICKEN or DUCK and far worse than even RABBIT. And hash is up again at Slush (71.57 Ph/s) and luck is trending PEAR (73.34 % Last 10 Blocks) - which adds further weight to the above analysis. This simulation demonstrates quite elegantly the luck cycle shifts throughout the PEAR phases which can easily be extrapolated to the RABBIT/DUCK example above. It's not due to the luck, but Behavior of hash rate. The trent reminds me of the slush attack.
I run a luck report, and a (no longer manual) analysis of that report, every time before I complete processing payouts ... i.e. average a bit more than once a day. The cause of the problem at Slush would show up here LONG before any single miner got to anywhere near the problem that occurred there (thanks to organofcorti's brilliant analysis of the simple way to spot such a problem) Though there is still more development I'm doing on the analysis process, I see no pattern to the luck vs hash rate (... and cringe every time I look at those two very short, but very unlucky, bad luck streaks of 4 and 5 blocks close together at the end of April and start of May ... ...)

LOL.. Kano are doing a amazing job running the pool. Im just curious to know if the pool is attacked by false hash and if we are setup to prevent it.

After reading rabbit/duck/chicken post below..... I wonder why this bad luck always happens when we are reach a high pool PH..... OMG 44 Petahash on pool now! Is this correlation just coincidence or there is a hidden force of the dark kind here.

Just my thoughts as well. When pool hash is raised with 5-8 PH above normal, we hit bad luck at the same time.
