I got a text from the ckpool app saying something about "1st confirm" after someone found a block what does this mean? Do I need to confirm anything?

Well this is getting worse ... BW Pool didn't distribute their block that just orphaned us, it was withheld from the network.
BW Pool block 0000000000000000047ffadd5468b3dd74b87b761a4c77724b57e259b5d51ded wasn't on the relay network at all.
Our block 000000000000000004b33fcc99679846a5baf29896d2f9d4e52ec3fe617b7eaa went out on the network as expected at: 06:11:18 UTC
Then they put out 2 blocks at 06:30 UTC, one to match our 20 minute earlier block, and another to orphan our block since it confirmed their 20 minute late block.
Well, that's a 100% impossible to avoid orphan. Sigh. I've no idea why any pool would withhold their block from the network in the hope of confirming it later, but that's basically what happened.
Direct from the bitcoin debug.log: 418022 BW Pool: 2016-06-26 05:39:12.971646 UpdateTip: new best=000000000000000001d99ef4ada0fae37ce4712f64e4cf94fee9beef3a9fdbfd height=418022 418023 Ours: 2016-06-26 06:11:18.894290 UpdateTip: new best=000000000000000004b33fcc99679846a5baf29896d2f9d4e52ec3fe617b7eaa height=418023

If anyone feels the urge to check their own debug.log it should show the same.
Note, BW Pool is part of AntPool - it's them trying to hide how much of the network they control.
... there's so far been no blocks since this ...
Edit: and 2 more blocks just showed up - with yet another orphan race right now between F2Pool and ?
Edit2: won by F2Pool, confirmed by BW Pool

Depressing this 3rd orphan....
In my mind... I can only imagine a sinister cocktail of "collusion, some clever code in bminer v1 and pure greed."
... talking about cocktails, I am going drinking at crispy's bar, anyone joining?

Well the most annoying other thing about it is:
I'm now running 2 nodes in China. I started the 2nd one shortly before we got our block.
It's connect to both the CN relay and the HK relay.
It shows NO SIGN of the BW Pool block at all even inside China.

Whoa. Not good. Gotta meditate on that one.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

I don't get what's going on? Is someone purposely making our blocks "orphaned"? will they continue doing what ever they are doing to prevent us from getting future blocks?

So if Ant and BW are the same, and in partnership with F2, who is HaoBTC? If they are in on this, then hell they have over 70%, maybe even BTCC then even more. Why bother broadcasting outside china? If your CN nodes did not pick it up, maybe they all have a private network going? they just confirm each others blocks and keep the rest of the planet out of it.... Last block outside CN was Slush

Except Crispys bar may run out of booze if we get another orphan. If we get 4 orphans is that considered on orphanage? Maybe the bitcoin foundation will subsidize...

Too bad I am out and not in front of my Mac... I will rent a few more PH to force this block out.... 1 orphan is understandable.... 2 orphans cannot be coincidence..... 3rd orphan... someone is going to be hurt real bad!!! Depressing this 3rd orphan....
