Even the wolves have nothing for sale right now. Come on Avalon so we add to Kano.is!
I know...I noticed S9s seemed to be pau (Hawaiian for all done) a while back. From my personal, admittedly sometimes nimrod, view there is one (and more, I'm sure, but this one I prefer to hold) set of reasons for nothing being heard, and no S9s being built. If the rumors of an "A7" are founded in something, then it is probably in a performance/power/cost range that would put it hands down over the S9. If I were building S9s, I'd hold off on new batches if I had reason to believe I really needed an S10 instead...I'd be putting my resources into that S10. Anyway...assuming the rumors are not rumors...I think we'll know with certainty one way or the other by 1 Oct. Dunno why that date particularly, but it seems about as long as a company might be able to reasonably keep a secret like that...if it's a true thing. not sure if the avalon 7 will be a better miner, but the s-9 chip is not durable. The death rate is very high on the hashboards. This has to be causing them a lot of problems on many levels. Even though USA based bitmainwarranty.com now offers an s9 with 3 ,9 or 12 month warranties and will allow for paypal I am waiting to decide if I want more.

for 18 minutes I have zero hashrate at the pool. A worried household owner has called me and said that "they are beeping as hell". Is it just my provider or NL node or smth else?

It's having network issues to the pool at the moment. Actually it was network connection to the node, not it to the pool. 80% of the NL miners got a disconnect. Thus it takes 5 mins for them to start mining there again (coz cgminer switches to the backup) Hash rate is back to normal there, so should be all ok again.

It's having network issues to the pool at the moment. But my 2nd pool is the main node - zero. And the third pool I have also zero... And no teamviewer connection, so I assume that angry gods made both simultaneously - NL node issues and my provider downtime. Have to go to the location at 3 am and try to fix it manually. ANGRY.

Main pool (and all other nodes) were all ok. So if you lost connection to everything, then yeah there must have been a local issue where your miners were that also affected the NL node's network. ... though, I think a large % of the NL node is miners in iceland.

Everything seems fixed now. Provider's support explained that there was some major issue that affected several providers in Eastern and Nothern Europe and now we are connected through some failover connection that have been used only twice in 10 years before tonight. Night of adventures... Need a beer to relax and have some sleep at last...

With no info on A7 in sight and S9 boards failing without repair capability from Bitmain themselves... I have gone to Plan B to collect more BTCs, as a temporary solution. Sad reality this, in my humble opinion....

Anyone buying Bitmain's crap since the S7 fiasco fits the definition of Insane perfectly : Albert Einstein quoted : "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”.

There's an ongoing network problem - not at the pool. It's affecting the NL node and all miners connecting to NL and and about 1/3 of the miners connecting to the main node. DE, FR, JP and SG are unaffected.

Tough couple of days with those stubborn red blocks My apologies to all my fellow miners because I must have put the jinx on us by mentioning the other day that the entire stat board was over 100%. I will never speak of it again Woke up to 1 block in the basket - I'm happy with that, maybe we can have a "normal" 4 block day. Mine on

All of Juvia's minions are S9s and mining at Mt. Kano without problems, and getting blocks. I think your dead connections to the pool maybe account related...

There are however, some S9s that are offline due to dead boards and controllers still waiting for RMA... but this is another story all together... which I will not comment because my blood pressure will go up if I get started on that topic.
