Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Sorry for the OT, but I'm just babbling and entertaining you (and me) until the next block drops shortly. Smiley

I CAN'T WAIT till it gets cold around here soon!! (I hope). It usually stays at or below freezing for a good part of the winter. Or at least in the 40's (F).

When I got my replaced BB Black board back from Bitmain China. I installed everything and put it back together and fired it up. When I looked on Awesome Miner, it was showing it was hashing at around 14TH! I took another look and saw that it was set for 650Mhz. But it is supposed to be a 12TH miner. So I down-clocked it to the correct speed.

But that gives me hope that when it gets cold that I can over-clock at least that miner to 650Mhz. But I may just set the 12.9 miners to 625MhZ and the 11.85 up from 550Mhz to 600Mhz.

Anyway, I'm in an EXCELLENT mood because as I was returning to my VERY TIRING part-time job after lunch today, I got a call offering me the IT job I have been praying to get!! Smiley I start a week from Monday! Halleluiah!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Let's have some BLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS to close out this day!!

That's way cool, man...seriously...kinda had a good day here that way as well...looks like we found a set of smoking gun documents re my VA disability, and I might be able to pick up a fair bunch of A7s...should they, of course, actually exist...  Grin

Thanks!
Good deal! I hope the VA disability comes through for you. The VA takes care of all of my health needs as I'm a veteran but I have no disability. (Although I should probably get 25-50% for my back).

I would love to have an A7 if I could figure out how to deal with more power consumption. I'm all out of power in the coin room.  Huh
Good luck! Smiley

Time for a BLOCK! Smiley

I'm starting to feel pretty good myself but for the opposite reason - next week is my LAST week of work at my IT job that I've been doing for 29 years! Hey, wait a sec...are you the guy who's talking my place? Hahaha  Grin

And the other cool thing that's putting a smile on my face is I just had 6 kilowatts of solar panels installed on my roof and they're going on-line on Monday! I didn't do that specifically for mining but because it's just a good thing to do (save money, help the planet, etc.) but If my calcs are right I'll save about $600 a year which means I can run my little S3 & S5 for free! They have already ROI'd so they'll be profitable no matter what - chump change, yes, but hey...they'll pay for beer & pizza. (Well ok, maybe just beer)  Grin

Two blocks in the basket this morning - let's go block Saturday!

How many need time and speed Th for win block now?
Average hashes per block is decided by the network difficulty.
That's what the % number is on the top of every page after 'Shares:' - how much of the network difficulty, average work per block, we've done.

Time isn't much use since the hash rate changes quite a lot.
But the reverse of that, at the moment, it's currently: 11.23PH/s is expected to find, on average, one block a day.
Thus 44.9PH/s is expected to find, on average, 4 blocks a day.
The pool is somewhere in the ballpark of that, but the hash rate is often below that.

Haha. I you live in the Western North Carolina mountain, that is a possibility! I haven't worked in the IT field in a few years, but it's been my profession since the early-90's.
Congratulations on your retirement!
Thanks for the well-wishes!
