Another good day would be great. Preferably one where my ISP does not go down overnight. Lost 4 to 5 hours mining last night so my 5n took a small hit.

4 blocks yesterday and 3 in the basket this morning - keep it going! (despite the rise in difficulty) GREAT start to the day!! What a great way to wake up this morning! 3 blocks in the hopper with lots of time to go for more today! Now if I can only figure out how to do the bank transfer to pay for my new AvalonMiner 721 I'll be in business

I have to go to the branch, however, to initiate it as it can't be done online. I also have to drive 27 miles to the only branch on the island that can do it. Glad I'm a onesie-twosie in that respect...they're fine with PayPal for mine. And yeah! Absofrakkinglutely GREAT start to the day...

Shouldn't be an issue, I would think...but although they've been great with me so far, it does seem they've got the usual bean counters in finance, so who knows. Doing a wire transfer for $1K for one machine seems a bit much. Wanna REALLY good chuckle...I got a new RPi in for this 721...an RPi3 (the last one I bought was a 2). I didn't have my readers on, and...couldn't find the microSD slot on that tiny little board. Seriously. It's hell getting old.

Hi I'm trying to dial in my settings on the CKPool kano.is pool. I have my s7s underclocked to 3Th/s. Should I set a minimum Diff for my worker to 4096 or 8192? Or should I just leave it at 0 (auto) and CKPool will feed me what it needs. I have left it at 0 (auto) and I get a lot of Diff 1024 or 1536. Just wanted to make sure I am optimizing workload because antpool was giving me Diff 4096 and 8192. Appreciate any advice.

Me, too...both about two years ago (at 66). Nice to be able to see again, though, even with a tad of difficulty. Sure nice to see blocks emerging. Hey...bitgamesolo...let the pool set the diff. Works fine, probably the best for you. IMHO. EDIT: FWIW...I've noticed a lot of design changes on Canaan's site over the past few weeks as they moved into this phase, including not only the support ticket code, but also the buying module. All I have noticed has been good change, but I haven't had to use the new purchase mechanism yet. Maybe the code serf just forgot? That would be nice.

Bit more pool hash rate today getting us more blocks. Aren't we running around the "sweet spot" right now. Always seem to smash them out at around 35 ish. A good day so far.

Leave it at default unless there's a bug in the bitmain miner version you are using. Either way it makes no difference though, since the bug is usually that it displays block counts wrong in the miner but doesn't affect shares or blocks being found (and I think they may have fixed that eventually ... though I don't know what versions) The bug occurred when the diff was an exact power of 2 - e.g. like 4096 or 8192 (or 1024 or 2048)
