You all (or at least most of you) know what I retired from (at least the last profession).

You're only feeding this person's clinically-definable "issue." Ignore them. This personality type is, IMHO and in the most basic vernacular I am capable of...

...two nickels short of a quarter...a taco short of a combination plate...needs their headbolts retorqued...etc. etc.

This will be the last I refer to them...'cuz I'm gonna take my own unsolicited advice.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

reliably unpredictable, psychologically damaged man-child, constantly seeking the attention and the approval he was likely deprived of growing up, and all too willing to behave in an apallingly anti-social manner in order to soothe his miniature ego.

OK, so now that you've accurately described yourself and the rest of the internet trolls, why on earth should we listen to you bloviate?

Go away or we shall taunt you another time.

Damn it.. you beat me too it Smiley

"Ver also addressed what he considers to be the lack of opportunity for uncontested dialogue about the soft fork within popular Bitcoin forums r/bitcoin and Bitcointalk :

Read more: http://www.nasdaq.com/article/where-bitcoin-mining-pools-stand-on-segregated-witness-cm713991#ixzz4RFbYksM0"

Ver is playing the exact same role that Gavin Andresen and Mike Hearn did with the other hard-fork coups: the only person "in" Bitcoin to mysteriously get access to interviews in the establishment press.

Interesting little cadre you have in your thread, Kano & CK.

Honestly I don't give a shit whose right and whose wrong. You've warned us , but why continue arguing witch everyone. You claim Kano blows off hot air when his angry but you doing the exact same thing now. Thanks for warning us but please stop spamming the thread. I come here to check for pool updates or notifications, not to read adults fighting with each other like children. Whether it be you or Kano. Everyone is entitled to make there own mistakes in life and you've done your part of warning us. Not here to fight or grab your attention or take anyone's side. Just want the thread to stick to topic.
Thanks for the warning and all the best. Now can we move past this?

Mr Banks,

The information you provide on Kano is irrelevant to this thread which is about CKPool rather than Kano himself. Can't you start a separate thread where you and Kano can discuss your differences rather than use this one? I came here to ask about consolidating the multiple tiny payments this pool sends us rather than letting us leave our coin in the pool until it becomes a useful sum but you have sidetracked that so I get no useful answers.

Oh, and please desist from utilizing sesquipedalians, it makes you sound like a Grauniad journalist.

Well, I'm glad to see I've got your attention, Kano & CK.

Here's the PM I sent to both Kano and CK:

Quote
So, Laurel and fucking Hardy,

All you have to do is renounce Kano's garbage assertion, BOTH of you, either in this thread or on the main board, and you can put a stop to this. Until then, you're going to be getting dissembled, you and your business.

You'll perhaps wonder if I'm angry with them both. I am.

CK is propping up Kano with his otherwise good reputation, and has been for some time. The source of this affinity is a mystery to me.
What's there to denounce? I disagree with Kano on this and have stated so publicly. We've even gone our own directions with regards to pool signalling support for segwit (which I am for.) I've called Kano a prick openly before on these forums because of his personality and cannot argue the segwit case with him any further after countless debates on IRC. However as far as pool operators and coders go, he has been extremely hard working and honest to a fault. Dancing with the devil you know, if you must call it that. If you want to blame anything for my affinity with Kano, you need to go back to the history of my mining code development which I hate to dredge up, and had to decide whether to side with a completely untrustworthy pathological liar with bizarre interpretations of the real world or an honest hard working opinionated prick. Kano's entitled to his own opinion, and I respect it, even if I don't agree with it at times. There's nothing to denounce. All the users on this pool and reading this pool thread know how Kano runs the pool, what his personality is, and what his beliefs are with segwit, and have made a conscious decision to stay here.

... underground anti-establisment news outlets such as ... Nasdaq.com?
...

Before I thought you were delusional, now I'm sure of it (that or you have exactly zero concept of how the U.S. functions - given that NASDAQ is the "establishment").

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

'nuff said, cuz...
Can anyone say it better than that?

Well, I just deleted every one of his posts.
I've no idea why forum mods seem to think that he's allowed to post (more than 50 times) in a self moderated thread after I've told him not to after the 3rd time ...
If you see any posts by him, they'll be gone once I see them.

Sorry, I had to reboot the pool completely.
The ckdb crash eventually affected all ckpool connections also.
No shares/blocks/anything lost at all.
I disconnected all miners and closed all logs before rebooting.
All is back up again now (since 02:23:30 UTC)
CKDB is reloading also - that will complete within 10 minutes

Edit: CKDB restart completed already - 02:30 UTC

Kosaki shows 18m 37s long but zero shares (for me).  I assume this is an error?  Everybody have zero shares?  Database still reloading?
