Yea it's a v1 . Hope=0 My S9 v1 hit a block on 12/5...it's not impossible. Hope=75%  I have 5 of these in a Data Center. I've requested that they be upgraded to the latest v2 firmware but it's in the queue and I'm not sure how long it will be. |

Question with regard to consolidation of payments. If I have a hardware wallet like a keepkey or trezor would it be possible to generate a new BTC address and initiate a transaction to send say 100 individuals payments to the new address in one lump sum all within the same wallet? Thanks!

Thanks. Well you can't see it that often otherwise the web site will ban you  But i does fluctuate quite a bit ... though the reason is simply that lotsa miners connect and disconnect every minute. That number is the number of connections to the pool. Thanks for the quick reply kano. Is there a value somewhere in the pool stats that shows total number of active workers? Like say that were live within the last hour or day? Curious to see the total # of mining rigs that are live & contributing in the pool. Thanks. |

But non-passthru proxies count as one connection. |

I am not 100% sure that your argument is a formal logical fallacy, but it does appear to be akin to the informal logical fallacy known as the red herring fallacy. The chart on bitcoincore.org only shows the number of adopters of SegWit based on previous blocks submitted. It is not possible to logically infer that a non-SegWit block implies a "no" answer. While each block without SegWit could be a "no" answer, it is possible some of those blocks are from people too lazy to update, undecided or confused, simply holding out in an attempt to delay adoption, or with who knows what other reason.
1) I wasn't aware we were adopting formal debate rules in this thread. 2) SegWit requires acceptance (an actual implementation) or non-acceptance; "might", "confused", or "other" are not options. 3) An abstaining vote, from that which requires actual implementation to be a "yes", is still a "no".* 4) "Simply holding out in an attempt to delay adoption" is a "no".* 5) Due to the nature of the acceptance rule (2) any non-"yes" is a "no" (there can be no "maybe" in something that, by definition, requires a hard "yes" or a hard "no").* 6) Because someone's current vote is "no", they are not estopped from later changing that vote to a "yes"; however, a later change does not change the current "no" form current existence. Any more Ph.D. tests or may we continue the thread?  *Robert's Rules of Order apply loosely You said the following: Logic dictates that any list that "only tells you who said 'yes'" still, in fact, tells you who said "no". If a list of "yes" votes = ~25%, then the other ~75% said "no".

Fact, until someone votes yes, they are voting no. Until adoption hits 95% (which it never will) all those not flagging acceptance are flagging the opposite. It's based on the last N blocks, where a block flagging acceptance means yes and a block not flagging acceptance means no. That of course can change in the future, but that is only a prediction, not a fact, until it transpires. P.S. yes I deleted the two posts purely because of ComputerGenie's post. I got a PM asking me to buy bootleg Claymore software (I know alt coins sorry) The software is designed to steal claymore's fee . I reported it and the guy that sent the software offer is still here. So I would think admin was okay with claymore losing fees since no action was taken. |

Hi All,
After some advice... I have a Gridseed coming to me 2moro but have never set one up. I believe I need software to run it, so I am thinking cgminer, however, the software will be running on an apple mac but not sure if cgminer will run on a mac.
Has anyone setup any gridseeds to work on the pool, if so, what software are you using.
