wow they block all of NY? thats crazy. I have never heard of that before. Nigeria yes I have heard of that, but the entire state of New York?

Must be because of NY City is all I can think of. If anyone has been to upstate NY they know that its nothing like NYC here

I live in a small upstate community with a very tiny crime rate, interesting info though - wow

yea that was my thought as well, my dad's side of the family is from upstate ny and I told him about it.  His thoughts pretty much echoed what you were saying, maybe NYC ruined it for the rest.

They said it was a temporary block until they can sort it out I guess.  However, they did mention the block has been in place for months.

"You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again." -Benjamin Franklin
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

LOL

Actually I did know Thanksgiving is the 22nd

The week after the week of thanksgiving is also the same week that starts December.

I did not mean literally 7 days after thanksgiving. I meant the work week after thanksgiving. I am no where near close enough to have an exact date of when this will take place - but I am pretty sure its close to that week.

but wait WTF since when is Thanksgiving on a monday?

I thought it was supposed to be the fourth thursday of November

wtf are they going to do about black friday? Millions of walmart customers are going to run off of the ledge of a cliff like a group of lemmings when they find out about this

I hope you do this as I'm pretty sure he edited a post earlier in this thread, although I have no proof. Apparently he has issues with this in the past...

Yep, there it is.  I love when people accuse me of this, because you look like such a dolt when I explain that you can see when a post was edited last if you use the default forum skin... and just like the last dolt who accused me of this, you are also full of so much fail. Sad

I was wondering why I couldn't see edits when I was using the default forum skin, but I didn't have time until tonight to figure it out.

Do not use the Forum or Board Default, which is what 67k people are using.  That is the Bitcoin Theme without last edits.  Use the SMF Default Theme - Core, which is the default theme that came with the forum software.  Only 30 people are using this theme.

@Tom,

In the current bASIC description about power connector type it reads:
Code:
* Optional 4 Pin molex or DC barrel connector for power

Is this mistake (as you stated before all boards will have both) or should I be able to specify power connector type before actual shipping my order?

May the WinTame Power be with you!

Ok,  you convinced me,  53 now using the core skin.  The blue quote is annoying, and the stars take a little getting used to.

From Tom's previous statements I think that means that you have the option to use either the barrel connector or the 4 pin plug.

Hopefully it's a good sign for power consumption. The 4pin Molex connector is only rated at 11A, which would be ~130W. Most 2.5mm ID / 5.5mm OD barrel jacks are rated for less than 10A, as well (5A being the most common without multiple contacts).

along with using world readable dates like 22nd November rather that 22/11 or 11/22 - which is confusing.
may I suggest using "last week of November" or "first week of December" or similar rather than "one week after <some local public holiday>"? sorry, thanksgiving means nothing in my country.
Including a UTC time alongside local cutoffs would be great too.

You are servicing a worldwide market Tom, please take a moment to consider international customers when making announcements Smiley
Cheers
