You have to actually make a deposit, thats the catch.
Secondly, there are no guarantees, its 100% risk. So do I lose the initial deposit and only receive the weekly interest in return? Is this in any way not a pyramid scheme? Also if you want to play in the pool but think you might drown then check out the PPT.x bonds on the GLBSE which are partially insured. Go with the pirate and be prepared to sail the 7 seas !!! Here's a question, if you don't get paid out until after 2130 and then distro to us, will we get interest on our deposit + last weeks interest (if we reinvest) or will we only get interest on our reinvestment when it's actually distributed? (ie, 168 hours of current deposit plus 167 hours for the interest)
Does that make sense?

If you are set to reinvest, that portion will have the full interest amount starting as of 21:00, regardless of when the account gets credited. At least that is the way it has always worked so far. |

I'm still waiting on one of my withdrawals to be sent, I believe his still manually does them so we might just have to sit tight. I do believe that weekly payouts are sent automatically once Pirate pays out for the week while withdrawls are manually processed. |

I do believe that weekly payouts are sent automatically once Pirate pays out for the week while withdrawls are manually processed. this week i didn't run the script. the script would have tried to pay everyone coins that aren't in my wallet yet. i processed the interest payments semi-manually, and haven't sent any coins. with the (many) withdrawals, they too are waiting on more BST coins, although i am also paying them from some incoming deposits as they come available. |
