The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I need email address. Create new one just for BitBay and we'll use that to test contract.

Bitmessage is kind of slow and I've already tested it. I would like to test it with email.

... only 33 BTC until 250 Satoshi price.

How much percent of your total ICO gains is 33 BTC ?

Come on, buy some of your own currency - if you believe in it yourself.

Hi all, I'm an investor of bitbay. Happy to meet all of you!

David, I have a question. Does the new wallet stake? I have read this entire thread and a number of people have asked this question but I haven't seen the answer yet. If not, will the new version of the wallet you are releasing soon have it? It is kinda a big deal to those of us with large amounts of bay in our wallets lol.

Thanks and ready to accept gambling contracts and will try to create my own soon! Anyone want to bet on the knicks tonight? I will take the pelicans.

Yes the wallet stakes. I'd be happy to form a contract with you for a few BAY. We're soon going to see an update though.

Yes the wallet stakes.

Thank you for that quick response. I like this thread much better now that it is moderated. I am a libertarian at heart (hint hint) but this thread needs to be all about the business of bitbay (bug fixing, brainstorming, etc). Let the skeptics speak their peace elsewhere at this point. It is just a distraction from the work ahead.

Once the marketplace is up I have big plans and lots of product to sell. Can't wait to get started. The future looks bright with bitbay!

Actually I am a big NBA fan. So I am going to try to put a bet up for every game on here for tonight assuming I can get contracts to work.

What do you guys think is a reasonable amount to bet, 1000 bay? Have to make it interesting right?

Is there a faq or anything for setting up a contract on here? I guess the video from David is coming soon, but I can't wait to get started. It sounds like it might be a little tricky and I'm not exactly sure what parameters to set.

Anyways thanks! Bay Away! (my version of To The Moon! lol)

Also, one thing I'm really excited to find out more about is the multi-coin capability of the wallet.

My customers will not be techie users and directing them to an exchange to convert BTC to BAY may be problematic.

I am hoping the wallet will work this way:

1. Customer downloads the bay wallet.
2. Customer transfers some of their BTC to the wallet.
3. The wallet somehow converts their BTC to BAY through some kind of exchange (decentralized or not)
4. Customer completes transaction for my product with BAY with true anonymity and security.

Is my understanding of how this process may work correct? If not, what will it take to get here?

Bottrex or BetBay, that's the question for me atm or better said human vs. bot or human vs. human.
I think I'll choose the latter one.

I just installed the wallet (windows platform). It is online and have active connection but I do not see any progress bar regarding being synchronized. What should I do?

To show my appreciation for what David has done so far, I voted for him at this CoinDesk Poll.

Voted.

Ladies and gentlemen. Here is the First smart contract. All credit goes to David for helping me sort this and we just created & completed smart contract using BitBay & Bitmessage. You might want to use email (create new one) to make it go faster.

sorry to quote this out of topic...

The wallet I downloaded from the OP (1.0.0.1) just now does not show any of the options in the screen shots above.  Mine just has the basic qt options as the rest.  also it will not sync after over an hour with only 2 connections.  any advice?  thanks

How long does it take before it starts staking? I have had the wallet open about 12 hours I think and so far it doesn't appear to be doing it.

Thanks.

I find it weird that people are still calling this a wallet. For me it's by far more than that.
I like to refer to it as a client or dashboard or something like that, but certainly no plain wallet.
Sorry if I mind that word, but I find it somehow demeaning for all the work that David has put into it.

Ow and it doesn't stake atm. I don't know if that will be changed though.
