I'm just gonna go back to watching initial D... can't handle lag in CoD, much less here...
I really need to stop watching.. I have no plans of selling any BTC today in this lag, regardless of price, and yet I'm still watching the charts lol. Me too. I've had neither plans to buy nor to sell in a month - yet...!!

Nice... lag hovering around 1 minute generally. Tolerable. These staggered cooldowns have worked thus far to stop a paradox of lag and 'lag selling'.
EDIT: Even down to 0 a number of times.

Lag builnding again. This will continue forever, the only way to deal with that is to push the 17 april change now and cancel all "no funds" orders immediately.

Normally dropping bear markets are lucrative and quite safe to trade in if you have a feed with little lag so you can pick your buy orders in the 1 minute bottom of the large dips.
However, this option is cannibalized by the DDosser who posses single rights to exploit the panic. What we also can see is that the attack today was less effective; as price dropped the spread increased, meaning that less people were falling for the trick!
So more and more people are holding back not selling buying afraid of getting caught in a trade they later regret. We, the market are actually fighting this behavior, so thumbs up for people not falling for a scammer around here.
Bitcoin as a community of enthusiasts is also about trading ethics, interesting that we defend our currency suggesting imposing limits on the behavior allowed on Gox. I guess the 51% mentality is spreading to other fields than agreement on the source code only.

This is statement is technically correct, so long as orders flow in at >100% capacity. the only way to deal with that is to push the 17 april change now and cancel all "no funds" orders immediately. Rushing features into production in a 24/7 financial market is not a good idea, to put it mildly. Even under normal circumstances.

Lag was at 20 secs a a minute ago, back at 1:23. Seems to be hovering below 0 - 2 minutes. That is okay-ish. Anything over 10 is unacceptable and calls for a brief cooldown in my opinion. Those very cool downs just did wonders!

How long does it take for a cpu to count from 1 to 10000?
You can make it last a long time if you choose the wrong algorithm.
